About this property

Stunning steading conversion

This charming converted farm steading has bags of character along with modern home comforts. It's all on one level for easy access and can accommodate up to 6 people. The former mill house makes for a memorable master bedroom with its own four poster bed. Set on a country Estate in the Scottish Highlands, you get stunning views over heather-clad hills. A host of fantastic sporting, recreational and cultural opportunities await guests including grouse shooting, deer stalking, and salmon fishing.

Welcome to Laverockbank Steading!

Converted from a traditional stone-built farm steading, this property has been wonderfully refurbished into a luxury country cottage. There’s a light, bright and fully-equipped modern country kitchen, with Aga range cooker, induction hob and dining table for six people. With patio doors to the garden terrace and a wall adorned with lovely landscape paintings, this is wonderful space for casual entertaining. The living room has dramatic stone walls, antler pendant lights and comfortable leather sofas to relax into. With a wood burning stove, you can stay cosy on cold winter nights.

There are three beautifully appointed double bedrooms on the ground floor, two with super king-size beds and one with a king-size bed that can be split into two single beds. All the bedrooms have modern en-suite facilities (one en-suite has a fabulous freestanding rolltop bath). The master suite has wonderful circular walls from its former use as a mill house. An American-style four poster bed with dreamy barley twist spires and an impressive chandelier make for a memorable stay in this gorgeous room!

Flagstone floors in many parts of the property make it practical to live in and outside there is ample room for car parking. Equipment such as BBQs, garden furniture, cots, private chef, etc. are all available on request. Regretfully, dogs are not allowed.

Originally from the south coast of England, I relocated to Perthshire in 2019 to look after the Estate’s farming, forestry, shooting and property portfolio. In my leisure time I enjoy climbing Munros, hiking, shooting, gundog training and kayaking.
