Cottage on road which has fast moving vehicles, so care needed when leaving the house.

Cottage on road which has fast moving vehicles, so care needed when leaving the house. Both pubs in the village currently closed down, which was disappointing Cottage itself clean and comfortable. Stairs are steep! Given the weather, somewhere to hang wet walking gear would have been nice...None of the above negatives would stop us from booking this property again - it was clean comfy and good value for money!

Had a lovely week here, thank you.

Had a lovely week here, thank you. Stairs a bit tricky for people with limited ability. Bathroom could really do with a shelf to put your toilet bag down!

Perfect situation for the south lakes.

Perfect situation for the south lakes. Grizedale forest trails nearby are well signposted with interesting artworks. Predator Experience well worth checking out, gives an interesting look at wolves & their behavior.Front door opens directly onto the road which is used as a rat run with no regard to speed limit. On road parking anywhere you can.
