Great location!

The location is great, being right across from the beach access. I am disappointed about having to bring sheets and towels which I did not see this when I booked. And to pay a similar cleaning fee as other homes which do provide linens. This house smells very musty and moldy and we saw 3 cockroaches in the living room.

Layout was good. There was plenty of space for our group. The location was just right. Enjoyed morning coffee on the upper deck watching the sunrise.

Nice house, great location

We visited OIB for the week of 9/28 - 10/5 of 2024. We really enjoyed our stay in this house. There was more than enough room for our party of 6 and it was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. We especially loved the front porch with a view of the ocean and the closeness of the beach. The owners were quick to answer questions we had during our stay as well. access.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at “Selling Away”. The location was so convenient with the beach access across the street and just being a mile away from the center of OIB. The house met our needs perfectly and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Selling away is very home like setting.

House was very clean, convenient location as the beach access is directly across the street , the kitchen is small and not a lot of room for groceries , but we made it work.

Awesome Location

We loved our stay here! The house worked well for a long weekend at the beach for our party of 7. The house was very comfortable and the host was great to work with. Our favorite part of the house was its location to beach access - right across the street. This made it easy to shuttle kids back and forth from the beach during the day. We would definitely return!

Location is amazing!!

So convenient as beach access is across the street. So nice for each bedroom to have their own bathroom. Only thing that would keep us from booking again is how small and tight the kitchen is and no pantry space. Communication was great and place was clean.

Wonderful family vacation

Loved the arrangement of rooms on different levels with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Plenty of privacy for everyone. Wish the kitchen was a little bigger with more cabinet space since we cooked most of our meals, but we were able to adjust. Loved having the beach access just across the street! I will definitely rent this house again!

We loved this property! It was important to us that each bedroom had its own bath and there was lots of comfy seating in the living area. Also a big enough table for everyone to have a place! Bonus that it was right across from a beach access! Kitchen was well stocked and owner was responsive to questions.

Comfort and Convenience Assured for Everyone

The house at 201 East 1st Street is very lovely, comfortable and convenient. The decor throughout the house is very lovely and makes you feel right at home. There are plenty of puzzles and games in the downstairs bedroom closet to keep the kids occupied on those rainy/stormy days when the beach is not an option. The living area and bedrooms facing the beach, even though not oceanfront, still provides an incredible view of the ocean. All beds and the furniture in the general living area are very comfortable as we were all able to get a good nights sleep. There is plenty of parking under the house and also was a nice venue for a family picnic, as we were able to take advantage of the public parking spaces on the side of the house, as the house is located at a corner where there is public beach access. A simple stroll across the street and the wooden walkway and you are on the beach! The owners are very friendly in their correspondance and responsive to any questions regarding your stay there. I recommend this house for any family of 8 to 12 people looking for a fun week at Ocean Isle Beach. It's a house that both kids and adults will enjoy!

Our 6th Stay Here

We have been coming to OIB for 20 years and have stayed in this house 6 times. It accommodates our family quit well. 3 different levels is a nice feature, along with a bathroom for each bedroom. The beach access is very close. We like being able to see the ocean from the porch. We have already booked this house for next year!
