Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at “Selling Away”. The location was so convenient with the beach access across the street and just being a mile away from the center of OIB. The house met our needs perfectly and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We’ve stayed here before and love the location, across from beach access. The house is clean and comfortable. It is so nice that everyone has their own bathroom! Would definitely stay again!

Selling away is very home like setting.

House was very clean, convenient location as the beach access is directly across the street , the kitchen is small and not a lot of room for groceries , but we made it work.

Nice house, great location

We visited OIB for the week of 9/28 - 10/5 of 2024. We really enjoyed our stay in this house. There was more than enough room for our party of 6 and it was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. We especially loved the front porch with a view of the ocean and the closeness of the beach. The owners were quick to answer questions we had during our stay as well. access.

Great location!

The location is great, being right across from the beach access. I am disappointed about having to bring sheets and towels which I did not see this when I booked. And to pay a similar cleaning fee as other homes which do provide linens. This house smells very musty and moldy and we saw 3 cockroaches in the living room.

Great week at the beach

This is our 7th stay. We love new surprises like new barstools. We love the beach access. The house is big enough for our family. We always enjoy OIB. We hope to keep coming for years to come.

Wonderful family vacation

Loved the arrangement of rooms on different levels with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Plenty of privacy for everyone. Wish the kitchen was a little bigger with more cabinet space since we cooked most of our meals, but we were able to adjust. Loved having the beach access just across the street! I will definitely rent this house again!

Will absolutely return!!

What a wonderful property! The house was beautiful and so roomy. We had everything we needed. As one of our group had some physical issues, having the beach access right across the street was perfect. The front facing porches and balconies provided picture perfect views of the ocean. Annette was very available for questions and needs. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Perfect April Retreat

I have just semi retired and wanted an extended stay in OIB. The house and owner were exactly what I needed. While the house is second row the fact that the beach access in right across the street made it such a short walk to the sand. We had great time and extended family visited over the weekend several time. All bedrooms are spacious. the home had everything we wanted!

Great location and great set-up for family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Isle. We had 3 families with young babies (8 months and 5 months) and it was the perfect location for easy access to the beach. There was tons of porch space for relaxing at the house while babies napped. We used the chair and umbrella rental and set-up service so it was very easy to walk out to the beach and be ready to go. The house was very clean. Several items were not functioning - the outdoor shower was broken and there were no paper products, soap or trash bags upon arrival. This was a minor inconvenience, as we were able to run to the grocery store and grab items we needed, but it would have been nice to at least have 1 trash bag, 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels when we arrived so we didn't have to rush to the store. Communication with Annette was very easy and we got quick responses to any questions we had. We would recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

Layout was good. There was plenty of space for our group. The location was just right. Enjoyed morning coffee on the upper deck watching the sunrise.

Awesome Location

We loved our stay here! The house worked well for a long weekend at the beach for our party of 7. The house was very comfortable and the host was great to work with. Our favorite part of the house was its location to beach access - right across the street. This made it easy to shuttle kids back and forth from the beach during the day. We would definitely return!
