This is an extraordinary home in the very heart and walls of beautiful Obidos. Communication was timely, clear and welcoming and the property was unique and magnificent. It turned out to be the highlight of our 11-day trip and we left wishing for more time here. I would go back in a heart beat!

Situated at the top of the hill, inside the castle walls and right next to the Obidos castle.

You could not ask for a better location! Walk out, turn the corner and the main street is right there for you to peruse all the way down to the main entrance. There is also a cafe immediately next door for coffe in the morning. The house itself is three levels and full of character. Super fun to stay in! We were here in June, but still slept comfortable as Marcelo provided an ac unit next to the bed on the top floor.The only catch was getting to this airbnb. Whether you are staying in the hotel/castle or here, it's very difficult to get to with luggage as cars are not allowed to drive in. So be prepared for a bit of a hike as this is not very clearly laid out om the property details nor in the instructions on how to get there. Overall, we really liked the house and it's location.

Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or halve the cost.
