Miralago Stresa

Here one can lose the sense of time… so fascinating is the view. Apartment Miralago comprises many winning features.
First, of course, is the view – astonishingly beautiful from the panoramic windows and the terrace. Second, – location, although the flat seems to be far away from the center and up the hill, there is a private elevator, that takes you from the street directly to the house, which simplifies a lot the way back home. It takes 7 minutes to reach the house from Stresa’s center. Thirdly, the apartment is very comfortable, there is a dining room with a sofa-bed, three bedrooms with double bed, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms both with tub/shower. As every room has at least one window, at every time of the day there is the sun.
There are parking lots on the territory of the building.

Miralago Apartment

Beautiful view and quiet but steep 15-minute hike uphill from main town. Basic amenities were lacking--no heat (it was a cool, rainy weekend in late May and we learned that the condo shuts off heat in mid-April), no extra blankets, hot water and refrigerator didn't work until I called and they helped troubleshoot, trash can only in kitchen, limited basic supplies (a couple of rolls of toilet paper, no dish soap, only hand soap in the bathroom, etc.). No shades on the windows. Only provided 1 set of keys which needs to be picked up in town. Parking near the apartment was very limited--got a spot the first day but had to hike the other days.

Spacious with a superb view

Spacious apartment with a superb view. Easy to find from the city centre. Only inconvenience is the parking situation, which requires some maneuvering and is listed as a bit of a hike down the hill from the property. Overall an excellent experience and for families, the extra bedroom and bathroom make all the difference. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Million Dollar View

The pictures do not lie, the view and the balcony are that amazing. My family and I spent the majority of our time there. The Apartment is roomy. Although it is a short walk from the train station, it is all up hill. We would easily walk into town, but took cabs back up to the apartment due to the steep climb. There is no wifi currently at the apartment which was a problem since we were on limited data for our international plan. The washer also did not work when we were there. We let the host know, but it was never fixed. This is a new listing and if the hosts fix those two things it is a perfect place to stay when visiting Stresa.
