Holiday Home in Blankenberge by Marina

On the harbor of Blankenberge and within walking distance of the beach, this is a 9-bedroom holiday home for up to 20 guests. It has a professional kitchen and a shared living space with views of the marina where you can enjoy a meal and a get-together in peace. A large family or several families holidaying together will find it perfect.

The region is perfect for a beautiful walk or bike ride. In the evening, after a day at the beach or sightseeing, you can enjoy the many restaurants and terraces that Blankenberge has. The town center, restaurants, pubs, and shops are night next to your stay. Points of interest include the Blankenberge Sea Life center, the Serpentarium, and Dairy Museum. A visit to Ostend and Bruges also worth it.

In front of the holiday home, there is a nice terrace where you can drink a delicious pint and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. You can prepare lavish meals in the modern equipped kitchen. 3 pets are allowed for free. Parking is available for a small fee.

Note: That a (optional) garage can be rented for €25 per night (not per vehicle). It can accommodate two (or perhaps three small) cars. There is also a paid parking 50 meters from the house.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Great hosts and nice location, a bit outdated from the photos and lacking in upkeep.

Nice large space for us all. It was a pleasant stay but a bit outdated from the photos online and some amenities were lacking. No soap in any of the rooms, not enough toilet paper. Online it said that towels would be included in the linen package but they were not. We were only given a duvet cover and 2 pillow cases, no bottom sheet either. But the duvet cover we did get was very crisp and clean. The heater didn't work in some rooms and some rooms were way to hot. But all in all it was an enjoyable four days and the communication with the hosts was wonderful, they were great, kind people.

Sehr gute Lage. Ein Innenhof, in dem 3 große Autos geparkt werden können, ist ein Pluspunkt. Die Straßen liegen in der blauen Zone und das Parken etwas weiter weg ist ziemlich teuer. Man merkt, dass es ein schönes Hotel war. Die Erhabenheit ist etwas verloren gegangen. Eine Erfrischung wäre zwar nicht schlecht, aber das tut der Behaglichkeit und Gemütlichkeit keinen Abbruch. Gut ausgestattete Küche, viele Kühlschränke. Schade um den Abflussgeruch in einem Teil der Küche. Es hilft, die Dunstabzugshaube eingeschaltet zu lassen. Schlafzimmer/Badezimmer sind ok. Wenn Sie weniger mobil sind, können die vielen Treppen schwierig sein.

Geweldig huis qua grootte en ook qua ligging (250 mtr. van het strand!). Omdat het een hotel is geweest, is er een professionele keuken en een groot aanbod aan bestek, glazen en borden. Twee afwasmachines, een wasmachine, een droger én een uiterst vriendelijke en coöperatieve beheerder maken het geheel compleet. Al met al een aanrader.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt in der so schön beschriebenen „Luxusvilla Beaufort“ enttäuschend. Über "Luxus" konnten wir leider nichts finden. Was wir bei der Ankunft sofort erlebten, war, dass die Unterkunft von außen und danach von innen ziemlich überfällig war. (Schade für so ein schönes charakteristisches Gebäude/Denkmal) Außerdem beim Betreten des Wohnzimmers die stark abgenutzten Kissen des connacfarbenen Ecksofas (das Sofa ist wirklich nicht mehr möglich) Im Keller gibt es einen ordentlichen Profi Küche die komplett ausgestattet ist....leider stinkt es ständig gewaltig nach Abluft.Wenn man die Treppe in die oberen Stockwerke hochgeht stößt man auf abblätternde Wände, Risse und feuchte Stellen.Die Schlafzimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen aber aussen die kaputten Schränke, kaputt Lampen, kaputte Vorhänge, Feuchtigkeitsflecken und die abblätternden Fensterrahmen sind weiterhin in Ordnung. Die gemütlichen Badezimmer sind sehr alt / abgenutzt und nicht frisch. Abgesehen von all den überfälligen Wartungsarbeiten ist es ein wunderschönes charakteristisches Gebäude in einer wunderschönen Lage.

Alles was eigenlijk perfect in orde. Het was netjes, de ontvangst was goed. Het is een aanrader omdat de omgeving ook leuk is, direct aan zee. Enkele kleine minpuntjes. Als er veel kleine kindjes zijn, dan is de leefruimte wat te klein om te spelen. Een aparte plaats met een baktafel of biljart zou ook leuk zijn, maar we wisten van vooraf dat dit niet aanwezig was.
