Set over two levels, when you enter the property you are greeted by a lovely spacious living room with TV, cosy wood burner and an additional dining area.
Around the corner, it opens out to a well-equipped kitchen, including a Rayburn, electric hob and oven for all your cooking desires. Plus, there is a comfortable seating area and a breakfast/casual dining area. Upstairs is three expansive bedrooms, each with their own TV and gorgeous en-suite bathroom, with stunning views over the hills from the window. Outside is a patio with seating and a wonderfully secluded private garden area for those nice evenings. There is also a carport for storing muddy boots after a day spent walking, or to use as extra outdoor space. Wake up refreshed and ready to unwind, and appreciate your holiday in this fantastic cosy cottage. From slate floors to exposed beams, the cottage radiates light and has a wonderfully inviting feeling as soon as you arrive.
With the cottage situated in the village of Forden, it is ideally located, and you are only a few hundred yards away from a quintessential village pub, check opening hours. There is another pub, The Railway 1.5 miles away at other end of village Both Welshpool and Montgomery are only a few miles away and have everything on offer. The location gives you the opportunity to create your own outdoor adventure, from canals, to walking, sightseeing, castles and amenities. In particular, the family run Kerry Vale vineyard is only 7 miles away, set in 6 acres of farmland, and offers a wine tasting afternoon tea.
Alternatively, Ludlow is a market town in Shropshire, just over 30 miles away.
The town is arguably one of the finest historic towns in England with a wealth of beautiful period buildings. The centrepiece to the town is the dramatic, medieval Ludlow Castle, plus throughout the year there are various food markets that shouldn’t be missed. The nearest coastal town is Aberdyfi in Wales, 40 miles away, if you wanted a day out at the beach. Top House is truly a top house for you to experience and explore Mid Wales and Shropshire.
