The host and property manager were excellent at communication and the check in process was very easy. The property is in a superb location. Only one oversight was that there was no toilet paper upon arrival and I had to buy my own but other than that very pleased with my stay.

SUPERLATIVE EXPERIENCE

I highly suggest this apartment. Everything is perfect for a pleasant vacation (comfortable and fully equiped flat)I also underline that we were picked up at the airport and led directly to the apartment.For sure I will choose it again for my next trip to Lisbon, also due to the location in Prince real, that is quite and very near to the best spot in Lisbon

Great Lisbon Apartment

The apartment was very clean and within walking distance to restaurants, transportation and points of interest. Markets were close by and all the appliances were available to make for a comfortable stay. Paulo was a gracious and accommodating host. Would have given 5 stars but for the shower which required a couple of towels to mop up water off the floor after each use.

Great stay

We had a great stay at the apartment. It had all the necessities for a short stay. The location is in a good neighborhood with easy access to nearby attractions. There are good restaurants nearby as well as a small market which was convenient for the basics. We especially appreciated Paolo picking is up at the airport late at night after a long day of travel.

Close to everything but quiet

Had a great stay at this place. Was a bit away from the center, but were still able to walk to everything. Was a quieter area so getting a goods nights sleep was no problem. A big thanks to Paulo for picking us up at the train station, nice to not worry about getting there. I'd recommend this place to anyone

First time in Lisbon

We had such a great time! Paulo was very attentive and easy to communicate with. The apartment was in an amazing location. Had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Tiny shower but still manageable. Reasonable walking distance to a lot of great areas plus close to public transit stops. Wonderful park, wine bars, restaurants and small grocery store that had all we needed all just a few blocks away. Very quiet neighbourhood. Can’t wait to return!

I really enjoyed my stay here! Paulo was so helpful and easy to communicate with. My trip got delayed by a full day and he was extremely accommodating with his airport transfer for me. The space is clean and quiet for the most part, you can sometimes hear people going up the stairs but nothing that is disturbing! I really loved my view from the bedroom also, it was dreamy at times. There are plenty of bars and markets around, there's a gelato place right on the corner as well so there is a lot to do that is nearby. It's a great area and this space is great for 1-2 people. The only con is the smell of the drains but I grabbed a few candles from the market and kept them lit, no more issues. I would stay here again for sure.

Inaccurate property listing

This accommodation was offered with free airport transfer. Don’t be fooled. The owner has other properties and if other guests are arriving at a similar time he can only accommodate one group. This was not clear when we booked. we had to make our own way to apartment.We were pleased when we saw there was a good hob and oven as sometimes we like to cook and eat in, then we were disappointed to discover there were no cooking pans except for one tiny frying pan. Bathroom drains a bit smelly.

Thanks for your review. The airport pick up is a free service that will be possible according to availability. The flight information and time of arrival was only received 2 days before your check in. Therefore I already had other pick up services scheduled. The flight arrived even earlier than scheduled and therefore it wasn't possible to pick you up. Despite the early arrival, it was still possible to do the check in earlier than usual. Hope to host you again in the future.

We specifically replied to the owner about our 4pm check-in time. He assured us in writing that someone would be there to hand over keys. We waited for an hour in the heat and eventually had to ask a local builder to call Paolo since our phones were not active. Paolo asked us to wait a few minutes, rather arrogantly pointing out that he owns several properties so who am I? 30 minutes later the house-keeper Nadia arrived with her young son. A very annoying mis-communication but once we were finally in, the apartment is clean and has all you would need. DON'T use the corner shop. Walk 5 mins further to a supermarket where a beer is 0.89c rather than 2.60c. On your 1st, 2nd, 3rd night get yourself 10 minutes to Tasca dos Poiais for a five table restaurant charm and love! Go early around 6 to 7 and you are sure to get a table. Lunch? Honest Greens 10 minute walk on the balcony with a view from 12 mid-day - it's not just greens :-) Botanical gardens are free on Sundays between 10-1pm to enter - 10 minute walk

Le processus de réservation est très efficace. Les transports publiques (métro, gare de train) sont a plus ou moins 15 mins de marche. Si vous êtes un peu en forme, vous pouvez visiter beaucoup de choses à pied. Nous donnons 4* à cause de l'air climatisé murale qui à besoin d'un nettoyage du serpertin intérieur (présence d'odeurs) et de la douche qui coule. L'hôte est très avenant.

Accueil parfait, appartement tel que décrit, bien équipé et confortable pour 2 ou 3 personnes.Le seul bémol est la salle de bain, porte qui coince un peu et très bruyante et surtout odeur d’égout dans le drain de la douche que le gestionnaire a réglé rapidement, en majeure partie. Très bien situé, beau quartier.
