If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay near the Grand Haven area we can’t recommend this place enough. The cottage is clean and spacious, equipped with anything you might need from cooking to games to bath essentials. The check-in process was very straightforward and the host was very responsive to the few questions that came up. Finally the cottage is in a beautiful setting, right along one of the many bayous in the area. We hope to do a return trip in the future!

Home was very clean inside! Jill responded promptly. Couldn’t have asked for a better view of the bayou. Heron, eagle, swans, ducks, deer (3 one day to 14 another day), sandhill crane and her two puppies who visited regularly. Beds were comfortable. Normal walker size couldn’t fit through one bedroom and the bathroom door but most people don’t utilize those. Pull out couch was comfortable too.

My partner and I drove up to the Grand Haven area for a 4-night vacation, and we had an absolute blast!! We were able to get into the house on the first night without any trouble, the place was clean, had plenty of amenities and extra supplies in the kitchen and bathroom, and the view is absolutely stunning. The landscape is GORGEOUS! So many beautiful flowering plants and native wildlife and a nice outdoor sitting area and dock that leads out onto the water. The host, Jill, lives right next door to the property and was super sweet and communicative. Her two pups roam around the land and are incredibly friendly and well behaved! Every place we visited had delicious food and drinks, and the beaches were lovely! We would absolutely stay here again!!

Quiet cozy weekend stay. Could not have asked for a better place to relax by an inland lake. Jill the host was excellent and easy to contact. Cottage was very clean, warm, and well cared for. I'd love to return sometime, maybe in Autumn, to see the setting in beautiful fall colors.

The place was in great shape and super cozy. I'm glad I had a four -wheel drive truck, but we were there during a huge blizzard,so the snowy roads were no surprise. Beautiful place in a beautiful location.

The cottage was extremely comfortable and very clean! Steps away form the waterfront with beautiful views! The beds were super comfy which made for restful sleep. Our host Jill , went above and beyond in stocking the cottage with things you might need to get started and while you were there. Very charming, extra clean home!!

House as advertised, a lot of little perks, well decorated, charming cottage! Good location to a lot of things to do. Very clean!!! Bonus would be to add a picnic table w/umbrella - no shade in the yard & maybe add a couple of cheap kayaks for cabin users. Very happy with our stay.

Cozy calming getaway!

We loved our weekend stay! The pics didn’t do it justice…it was updated and so cozy. We truly felt at home and very comfortable. We went here for our anniversary weekend just to getaway and it was perfect. It’s also close to restaurants, putt putt golf, beaches and easy access to US 31. I can’t forget about my buddy Mack (the dog) who came to visit a couple times. We will definitely be back!
