Lochside Lodge with Hot Tub in Scottish Highlands

Bright Star Lodge is a Scandinavian Lochside Lodge with Hot Tub in the Heart of the Scottish Highlands.

Nestled on the bonny banks of Loch Oich in the middle of the Great Glen, Bright Star Lodge is the ultimate idyllic getaway in the Scottish Highlands.

Our 3-bedroom Scandinavian-style A-frame lodge was renovated in Summer 2021, making it the perfect escape for couples, families, and trips with friends (or four-legged friends – pets are welcome too!)

We have an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that’s designed for socialising. The kitchen includes an oven, hobs, microwave, fridge, ice maker machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, cafetiere and fully-stocked kitchenware.

Our pull-down projector is perfect for cosy evenings snuggled up on the sofas with access to movie apps (e.g. Disney+, AirPlay from your own device, etc.), while through the wide patio doors, the decking and hot tub area is the perfect place to chill.

The master bedroom has a king bed, while bedrooms #2 and #3 have twin single beds with storage space in each room. We also have a travel cot and high chair that can be set up on request.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink - perfect for rinsing off after a dip in the Loch!

We also provide 2 towels per person, fresh bed-linen, free wifi, free on-site parking and an outdoor gas BBQ.

We offer a self check-in service to provide flexibility for guests travelling from far and wide. Guests are able to check-in any time after 4pm.

Amazing, can’t get better then chilling in the hot tub while looking at the spectacular views

The place is very well put together, kitchen has been recently upgraded, the sofa has a reclining seat each and hot tub and projector screen are nice additions, this place felt like home away from home, the scenery is absolutely beautiful especially when it’s been cold, the mountains are covered in snow which makes it even more special, you won’t be disappointed with the wildlife, if you have any questions/queries, Gary is quick to help, this is our second time staying here and won’t be our last

Great location. Great accomodation.

The lodge is situated 30-40 minutes drive from the surrounding towns and attractions and there are a number of restaurants within a 10 minute drive in case you don't want to spend your time cooking. The site is very peaceful and we watched the boats sailing on loch oich. The lodge was tidy, clean and had a range of useful appliances to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay.
