Welcome to Lochaber Lodges, a new development of self-catering lodges to rent in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland. Our family run site offers you all the personal touches for a great getaway in a stunning location, with the assurance of Visit Scotland 4 star accreditation. We have also been awarded Certificate of Excellence for the years 2013 to 2019.

We are situated 7 miles from Fort William on the banks of the Caledonian Canal with uninterrupted views over Anoach Mor and Ben Nevis. Whether you are looking for a tranquil and relaxing break, or a base to experience the Outdoor Capital of the UK- this is the ideal location.

Our new lodges are equipped to exceptional standards for year round occupancy, with double-glazing and central heating for the colder winter months, and external decking to enjoy the benefits of the long daylight hours in the summer. Our luxury lodges also includes flat screen TV/DVD to lounge and bedroom, integrated dishwasher and microwave, free WiFi access, and full washing and drying facilities.

Excellent holiday in great location

The property was in a stunning location, with lots of outdoor activites and walks to do in the local area (within driving distance), and it was a great base for exploring the Scottish highland.The property itself was well-maintained. The bedrooms were all of a good size and living area was very comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen and whole place was very clean and comfortable.

Piece of Heaven!

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal!! The cottage was amazing and had everything we needed and very clean. The breeze was refreshing and cool at night to sleep. Claire was exceptional to assist us with any questions or directions. The scenery was spectacular from the deck and we enjoyed many walks at night. Fabulous spot!!!

Great location and lovely Stay

Stayed for 4 nights and the check in process was very smooth and when we had an issue Claire was very helpful to resolve the problem. The team was able to provide the travel cot and high chair as necessary for our baby. Not much to complain except the doors needs some care as they are making noises when open and close.

Great Lodge, calm and with superb view on Ben Nevis

We stayed with our two children for several days in the lodge an we will come back. Well equipped, quiet, in a beautiful landscape right on top of the caledonian canal. There a occasions for any taste to pass a relaxing time. Thanks to Claire and her father Malcom for the warm welcome and the friendly support.

Perfect staycation

As a group of five, all in our mid-twenties, we could not recommend Lochaber Lodges enough. The lodge had absolutely everything that we needed, and more, it seems the friendly hosts have thought of everything that one would need when setting up their home from home! The lodge offered ample space for our group, and I'm confident we would have been able to squeeze some extra bodies in comfortably too! The kitchen and living area was spacious, and the kitchen was better equipped than your average holiday let. The location is ideal for exploring the highlands and for setting up HQ for the duration of a staycation. Whilst it is situated off a rather windy B road, it's not far from Fort William where you will continue on to your day trip locations. We really enjoyed our stay, couldn't fault the hosts or accommodation, would love to return!

le lodge,un chalet ,est très bien équipé.La piéce à vivre est grande et très agréable avec une très belle vue sur le ben Nevis.Par contre il n'y a pas de 4eme chambre,c'est le canapé du salon qui sert de lit 2 personnes,canapé convenable pour dormir quelques nuits. nous avons été bien reçu et conseillé pour les visites.
