This was an absolutely fantastic property. It's not large or overly fancy, but it had EVERYTHING we wanted. The home is compact, but not tiny. All the furniture was very comfortable. There is a well-maintained, fenced-in patio out back where one could gaze out at Loch Eil. At night, all the homes and businesses across the loch in Ft. William were lit up and it was very relaxing. The commuter train from Ft. William to Glennfinnan, and points beyond, goes right behind the property. It just whispers by on the tracks. The beds were all very comfortable. Again, the bedrooms were small, but not tiny. The upstairs bathroom was very clean. There is a washer and dryer on the property. The kitchen was well stocked. We usually make a few of our own meals while we're vacationing, but we opted to eat out this trip and did not use the kitchen much. There are two coffee/breakfast shops within walking distance of the property. We are 'tourist shy' travelers. This property was nowhere near any tourists (other than ourselves) so that's another attractive aspect of this property. The view of Ben Nevis from the property was just amazing.Overall, I rate this property an A for travelers wanting to experience the beauty of the southern Scottish Highlands. But, my favorite part was that we received only friendly smiles and unabashed courtesy from the folks of Corpach, Scotland. A fantastic property in a fantastic town in a fantastic country.
