Cottage is lovely and cosy and in a superb position for the town and beach. Angie was great with responses to questions during the whole process. 4 adults and 1 dog all highly recommend.
A small, 2 bed, cottage tucked away right in the heart of Barmouth. No vehicle access, but only a short walk with bags.
We used it as s retreat fir the grandparents while other 2 generations (10 in all) were in another nearby property.
We had a fantastic holiday, shops, pubs, beach, harbour, all within walking distance.
There was just one thing when we first entered the cottage it did smell of animal's.it didnt really effect tbe holiday we would recommend this lovely cottage thankyou..😁
Fantastic, situated close to all shops, yet nestled away from it all. Comfortable beds and had everything you needed. Neighbours were lovely. Definitely going back xx❤️😀😀😀
The majority of the property was good.
The downsides were,
Access was through a neighbours garden.
A number of hooks on walls with nothing on,
Large mirror in bedroom with broken hanging wire was resting on top of dresser,
Pretty garden but in need of a little tidy up and Astro turf looking tatty.
Wont be going again.
We loved our stay in this cosy cottage. Nice welcoming touches. Clean and well furnished. Close to all the amenities. Loved the train ride going across Barmouth Bridge. Great communication with hosts.
Very clean, gorgeous cottage, well stocked and appreciated little extras. Very close to the beach and all amenities. Excellent communication with owner. Particularly loved the bath and fire. The only down size was the front door which my husband did bump into a few times being 6 foot but this was highlighted in the property details so he should have ducked. No complaints at all very enjoyable few days away
Really lovely property with a character to it and in perfect location
Great mini break where the owner allowed our two beagles to be with us. Poetic little cottage in a lovely location. Beautiful

Lovely cottage
The cottage was lovely and close to the harbour.
Just a few minor issues, only 1 toilet roll, no hand wash, no washing up liquid and dishwasher not working. There was a note to say it was not working. There was no dish drainer and the water just ran off the edge of the work surface onto the floor.
There was quite a bit of food in a cupboard but over 80% was out of date, some 2019.
The welcome pack was a nice touch though.
The small garden was enclosed and the cottage was very clean.
The train runs very close to the garden but they don’t run through the night so all was ok.
We were blessed with great weather and had a very enjoyable time.
Angie is very helpful. The cottage felt like home. All the things we need are there. It is very near to high street and the beach and to all convenience you will need. Definitely recommended to everyone.
The cottage is warm and inviting straight away. Thank you for the wine - it was much appreciated after a long drive.
The decor is well thought out and elegant compared to usual rental properties. The house is well equipped with everything you need to self cater. The living room is furnished with a large comfortable sofa and armchair; it took me two days to notice the very clever folded dining table and chairs - excellent idea.
Bring bubble bath to make use of the huge deep bath; not having a conventional stand up shower you will use the bath for sure.
The house was spotless throughout with good linens. I would suggest bringing your own towel as the ones provided were brand new and perfect however I prefer a massive bath sheet - personal preference!
One of the best bits is location and the garden. It is a riot of colour and wildlife; you get the sun all day too so make the most of it!
The location could not be better and the parking was a breeze. There was no issue parking the car to unload it either.
Tips
Viaduct walk is stunning
The ferry + steam train were well worth it if a little bit pricey
Do not miss the homemade pie in the Royal - its also alot cheaper than the places nearer the seafront.
Very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful little cottage that is well located in the heart of the town.
Well kitted out and enough room for our two little ones, one in a bed and another in a travel cot.
