forward to welcoming guests.
Built in the 1980’s, Romney Grange is located in a prestigious development on the previous site of the
Romney Hotel.
No. 10 is perfectly positioned in a prime corner of the development, offering amazing westerly views over the lake and onto to the Langdale pikes, as well as far reaching southerly views down Lake Windermere itself. Sliding doors lead from the lounge onto the balcony, creating a private outdoor space to relax and unwind with morning tea or that well deserved holiday bubbly.
The Space:
This two bedroom and two bathroom property is noticeably spacious from the moment you walk through the door.
The large inviting hallway has plenty of storage for walking boots and outdoor clothing. This leads conveniently into a large open plan space, featuring a huge sunken lounge with a beautiful bay window seat and fantastic lake views.
The impeccably presented kitchen diner can be separated from the main lounge and has a spacious island to prepare a light bite or gourmet meal as well as a large 8 seater dining table. Equipped with everything you might need; the kitchen benefits from a Bosch oven and induction hob, as well as a wide selection of le Creuset and Joseph Joseph utensils. The dining area looks out across Lake Windermere and over to the fells and is the perfect place to enjoy sunset views.
The two bedrooms, both with their own en-suites are located at the rear of the property. Bedroom one has a superking bed, spacious wardrobes and views out over the hillside and on to the Lake. The refurbished ensuite benefits from a freestanding slipper bath, perfect for unwinding after a day out hiking.
Bedroom two has a king size bed and uninterrupted views across the Lake to Wray Castle. This room also benefits from a refurbished ensuite with stunning marble tiles and a large walk in shower.
The property is well located to explore the beautiful Lake District. With Ambleside Pier on your doorstep you can travel to different parts of Lake Windermere via boat. The bus stops right outside the apartment making it extremely easy to visit other places such as Bowness, Grasmere, Hawkshead, Coniston, Kendal, Keswick and beyond.

We love the fact that many walks can be undertaken directly from the door and if you wish to travel further afield there is a regular bus service, 2 mins from the property.
