The Mariahalden vacation rental in Weesen is located in an apartment building on a slope with a unique view of the Walensee and the mountains. The apartment is up one flight of stairs (an elevator is also available). It features two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a self-contained kitchen, a spacious living area, and an inviting balcony. Overall, it offers a generous 160 m2 (1,722 sq. ft.) of living space and can accommodate up to five guests. The small town of Weesen with its historical buildings and shops, a Spar supermarket, a post office, various restaurants and the Weesen marina are just a few minutes' walk away. Enjoy a lovely vacation in a heavenly alpine region with a wide range of hiking trails, cycling routes, walking tours, spectacular views, world-famous thermal springs in Bad Ragaz, and delightful natural surroundings. The village of Amden with its skiing and hiking area as well as the indoor swimming pool can be reached in about 10 minutes by car or from the nearest bus stop "Weesen, See" (350 m/1150 ft. from the house). A garage parking space with access from the stairwell as well as an outside parking space are reserved. The vacation resorts of Weesen and Amden in Switzerland are popular tourist destinations and offer a wonderful south-facing location on the crystal-clear Walensee. The area offers a unique combination of lake and mountain landscapes. From the almost Mediterranean climate on the shores of the Walensee, the area extends up to the alpine region between the mountain peaks. The cities of Rapperswil, Zurich, Chur and Lucerne are also close by. Together with the regions of Heidiland, Glarnerland and Lake Zurich, the possibilities for excursions within an hour's drive are almost endless. Nevertheless, Weesen and Amden have a familial and rural character that many expect to find in Switzerland Incidentally, in the winter season Weesen is a perfect starting point: in addition to the local family ski area of Amden, one can reach the ski areas of Flumserberg, Elm, Braunwald, Pizol, Davos or Laax in a short time. Everything is within a maximum of an hour's drive. An extra special Swiss vacation awaits.

160 m2. More information by the provider: The first-class 3 room apartment has a spacious living room with sofas, armchairs, a fireplace, a TV and a large dining table. From the living room you have access to the partly covered sunny balcony, which offers a breathtaking view of the Walensee and the surrounding mountains. A sofa in the living room can be converted into a sofa bed (90 x 200 cm) and the room can be separated by a concertina folding partition. One bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed (180 x 200cm) and another TV. The bathroom is connected to the bedroom by a large dressing room. The bathroom has a separate toilet, shower, bathtub and two sinks. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 x 200cm) with a large wardrobe and a bathroom. This bathroom is equipped with a toilet, shower and sink. In addition to the two bathrooms, the apartment has an additional separate toilet. The self-contained kitchen has an oven, an electric cooker, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine (Nespresso), a toaster, a kettle, two fondue sets and a raclette set. Next to the kitchen is a large room with a washing machine, dryer and freezer, all of which are available. Naturally, an iron and an ironing board are available. Access to the apartment is possible by a passenger elevator in addition to the staircase. No pets are allowed. Smoking is allowed as long as it is done outdoors. Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the apartment.
