About this property
Cosy Medieval Townhouse, between lake, sea, thermal baths, Rome, Viterbo, Umbria
This is house is something we really love and made for our family. A place nearby Rome where to slow down time and have excellent relax without having to travel far away. We are an expat family that lived around the world, anyway wherever we will move in the future we will always keep this house as our little treasure.
It has the typical features of old medieval townhouses with the comfort of the modern times. It is organised on four levels connected by stairs: On the ground floor you'll enter in the cosy living room with fireplace and open kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and stove, on the 1st floor there is a comfortable master bedroom with queen-size bed and a mix of antique and modern furniture, the functional bathroom with his own huge shower, the washing machine is also a dryer and is located in his own lawndry wardrobe, on the 2nd floor there is the "mansarda", that is set up as studio with a desk, an armchair, a comfy single bed that might be turned in to a queen bed. In the mansarda we even created an extra sink with cold and hot water for your comfort. There is also the possibility to install an hammock between wooden beams. From the mansarda through a robust wooden ladder and a roof hatch you can reach the terrace overlooking the old town and the lake where you have a sun-bed, armchair, dining table for four and BBQ, a parasol as well as a small water fountain, a small light and AC plug.

About the host
Hosted by FRANCESCO CAPINERA
We are a Turkish/Italian family of four and we moved to Rome in May 2015. I'm a finance and pricing professional, my wife is an international civil servant, a great cook and loving wife. Our daughter is just five years old but changed already three houses in her life... our son is just born :) before we lived in Bulgaria, Turkey, Kazakstan, Russia...
Why they chose this property
Anguillara is our little treasure that we made for ourselves since we felt in love with this place and the house.
What makes this property unique
His stunning view of the old town and the lake that can be seen from the terrace becomes extremely romantic at night time, the exclusive refurbishment that still maintained the charm of the house. Being walking distance from the beaches, restaurants and shopping area.
