October in Primrose Hill - A Must Stay!

This was our first trip to London since the world shutdown. Primrose Hill was an amazing base for our two-week stay. Everything we needed or wanted - food, shopping, hardware store (we left a converter plug) was within 1 - 15 minutes of walking distance from the front door! Flat/Apartment - The apartment was just the right size for two adults. The entryway is just that - an entryway. It's shared and there are lights if you come in at night. There are 42 steps to get to the apartment and there is no lift. We were fine (50+ and 60+) but it is something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. There is a lot of light in the main area. The decorations and furniture were very nice. The kitchen was well equipped and had most of what we needed to cook breakfast and a few dinners during the trip. The bedroom is small but comfortable with a big closet/wardrobe with drawers. We appreciated, based on the length of our stay, Jack making sure there were extra sheets and towels. The bathroom is also small, but clean and modern. The shower was perfect. Primrose Hill/Regent Park/Camden - 10 out of 10. It is a community that welcomes visitors! Primrose Hill and Regent's Park were fantastic to walk through every day. The flat is a 10-minute walk to the Chalk Farms Tube and a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Finally, Jack was an amazing host. Communication was perfect from the start. We appreciated the mid-visit check in too. This will be our home away from home.

Cozy Apartment in a Great Neighborhood

Cozy 1BR apartment in a great city residential neighborhood next to Regent's Park. Fairly recently renovated as of Oct 2023 stay. Restaurants, cafe's, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. Convenient to the Underground station and Camden Market on foot. Excellent and detailed host instructions/guidebook, smooth check-in. Communicative and responsive host. Stocked cabinets. Some street-level noise (conversations and traffic) was audible from the living room, but it wasn't super loud and didn't last late into the night. On the other hand, it was completely quiet in the bedroom, which overlooked a serene courtyard of gardens. Overall, noise was really not an issue. Was also quite a challenge to get suitcases up and down two flights of stairs. Other than that, an exceptional property and host.

Wonderful flat

This flat had everything we needed for our stay in London - modern look and design, new appliances, etc. Convenient to pretty much anywhere via a quick walk to the Chalk Farm tube, plenty of nearby bikes, and very little wait time for Uber. The location is amazing. We could have spent the entire trip in a 4 block radius and not eaten at the same place twice. Jack was thorough with the instructions, responsive and accommodating when we needed a later check out. We will definitely be back.

Location, Location!

Apart from being a beautifully renovated apartment, this Primrose Hill flat is in the perfect location for long walks in Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park as well as a short bus ride to Hampstead Heath south. We stayed for 2 weeks and fell in love with this neighborhood. Easy walk to Chalk Farm tube station takes you every where else you want to go knowing you’ll come back to this great little neighborhood! Such lovely restaurants, a bookstore, small shops, grocers and a great wine store. And, the best pub food at The Princess of Wales - especially the Sunday Roasts. I made the only purchase of my trip at a trendy eye wear store on our street, Adam Simmonds Opticians. I get so many compliments on my new glasses. I look for 3 things when staying at a VRBO - a renovated bathroom with updated shower or soaking tub, high end linens and stylishly simple decor with unique touches. This flat had it all! Hope you are lucky enough to spend time here soon.
