Stylish Central London Apartment with terrace

Entire flat available located just off beautiful Cleaver Square in Kennington.
On sunny weekends the square fills up with people playing petanque.. Very charming.
On the square there is a traditional English pub which serves food and drinks.
There are many restaurants in the immediate location.
It is only a 4 minute walk to Kennington tube station and 2 stops from the West End.
From this tube station there are good links to all parts of the city. There are several bus stops within a 2 minute walk and these serve all areas of the city. Vauxhall Bus/Train/Tube station is also a 10 minute walk and from here you can get pretty much anywhere in the city... or indeed out of it.
The flat interior is of a modern urban style with exposed brick walls and wooden floors it includes all comforts..
Wifi internet, cable TV, wet room bathroom, balcony/terrace, double bedroom with king sized bed, DOUBLE SOFA BED (1m35 wide POCKET SPRUNG EVERY DAY MATTRESS) in the living room, Nespresso coffee maker (which also now takes Carte Noire capsules)..
The balcony/terrace area has a table and benches and provides an excellent area to breakfast on a summer's day or to relax after a day visiting the city.
This apartment is unique and will be a perfect retreat after a busy day in the city.

Amazing Flat

This flat is in an amazing spot. There are two stations nearby for easy access around the city and great restaurants. I would highly recommend it.

Kennington short stay

Nice London stay

Nice apartment 5 minutes walk from Kennington station. Residential area with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We would return without any hesitation.

Great location

Excellent location close to tube station. Very clean apartment. Bedroom was tiny but had a double bed. Modern bathroom. Great communications with owner - extremely responsive.

Great location, great host

Flat is really well located, just across the river from the key sites of central London. Many amenities within short walking distance. Spotless, can easily sleep three. Stephane is a great host, immediate responses, provided lots of great info. We’ll be back.

Excellent apartment in great neighborhood

Great apartment- exactly as advertised. Loved the neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and pubs easily walkable. Tube stop short walk away. Felt safe in neighborhood, often walking back from tube later at night with family. Would definitely return.

Great location for accessibility to public transportation. Kennington tube station will get you anywhere. Lots of local pubs. Traffic noise was considerable but tolerable. Host was great. Apartment was perfect for 2.

A great home base for London exploration

My husband, 10 year old son and I very much enjoyed our stay at the property. It's a great size for a family of three and well- located close to the tube for easy exploration. There are also several lovely restaurants and coffee shops within a quick walk. The place was lovely - well- decorated, comfortable and clean. Stephane is very responsive for any needs/ questions. Highly recommend.

London Honeymoon

We loved this flat! The location to tube and train stations are within walking distance, pubs, food stores close by, very quite and safe neighborhood. The flat its self is updated and comfortable. Being from Florida, I was worried we would be cold, but the radiator heating was great, and the bed was cozy. Great communication with Stephen. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Very responsive to any questions. Property was smaller than liked in pictures but I was expecting because of other reviews. Still wonderful and close to transportation. Nice to be a little outside of hustle and bustle.

Nice Flat in London

We stayed here in London for five days on our first trip to Europe. The flat is very close to pubs, transportation and the tube. It was very easy to get around and had all of the things that we needed. Communication with the owner was excellent and he helped provide assistance with transportation and what to see. The stairs getting to the flat are a little awkward, but that's not really the owner's fault. We would stay again.

Great unit and location good value, location address and key location needs to be substantially improved, Wi-Fi was difficult to connect, television could not be operated at all, host Contact on the site was unavailable once we arrived

Cleaver St Flat

A perfectly lovely, spotlessly clean and ample flat fir 2 with all the equipment necessary. Close to historic Princes Sq and Charlie Chaplins house around the corner. About a 6 minute walk from Kenningyon tube with 2 supermarkets close by. If you enjoy Korean food check out Daebak at Vauxhall worth the 9 minute walk and the inevitable wait for a table.

Excellent stay

Location was brilliant. Property is within easy walking distance to Kennington tube station and there are bus options close by. There is a full-sized Tesco supermarket about a 5 min walk away, a Tesco Express really close by and also different eating options in the area. There are also a number of pubs to choose from with the Doghouse and Prince of Wales being our faves. The property itself is clean and roomy and cooking equipment and some food staples are provided. The shower is excellent and the heated towel rack a treat. Radiators kept the flat nice and cosy and the bed was comfy. We had no issues during our stay and the instructions provided for accessing the property and using equipment were easy to follow. We really enjoyed staying here and would book again.

Everything you need

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment which had everything we needed. The place was immaculately clean and the bedding so crisp. Convenient to Kennington station which is only a couple of stops to many attractions. It’s very walkable as well if you don’t mind about a half a hour stroll. The only issue I had was finding the key locker because the box is black on a black wall and I arrived at night. A quick phone call to Stephane who was most helpful and patient fixed it in no time. Highly recommended if you don’t want to stay in a hotel in London.

Cozy London Flat near Underground

We spent a 4-day vacation in the flat and enjoyed the neighborhood with very conveniently located restaurants and shops and close access on the Underground to anywhere in London. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and newly renovated bath room. Our host was very quick to answer any questions that we had before and during our trip. During the sunny days that we had, we were able to cook breakfast and sit on the large porch in the quiet morning in the middle of Kennington and then head off for our different excursions. Because it is a small one-bedroom flat, there is no room to put luggage nor clothing taken out of the luggage. So one just needs to be well organized and keep things in their place so that you can walk around in the flat. Although we were not able to get the guest access to Netflix to connect, we were able to screencast from our phones and enjoyed watching a movie that way in the comfortable living room. We'd definitely stay there again if we were back in London!

London Adventure

The property was nice, just a bit smaller than the pics on the website. We did not receive any "House Notes" until after we were in the property, owner said it was a mistake by VRBO. Great location, easy to walk to a lof of sites and really easy to get the Underground. Our only real complaints are there were only two towels, NO hand-towels, washcloths, paper towels. The shower was nice but was very slippery so we used one of the three kitchen towels we found (after asking the owner if there were any other towels other than a bath towel available) as a non-slip mat in the shower and another one as a shower mat when you step out of the shower. For the price of the flat, PLEASE include more towels... they don't cost much and make a huge difference. Overall, we had a good stay.

Wonderful apartment and top-notch property owner

My family loved staying in this cozy apartment during our week in London. It was neat, clean, and was in a nice neighborhood with a short walking distance to the tube. I cannot say enough good things about the host Stephane--he is extremely helpful and a prompt communicator. We had the misfortune of visiting London during a transit worker strike, and he offered all the advice he could and answered all our questions regarding how to secure other forms of transportation. He also gave us lots of information about the neighborhood the apartment was located and the best places to eat and shop for groceries. The only thing I felt was missing from the apartment was wash cloths--only bath towels were provided but me and my teenage daughter normally wash our faces each day with wash cloths. We used paper towels and made do. Highly recommend this apartment and host--would love to stay there again if we make it back to London!
