Excellent guests. Great communication. Left the cottage really clean and tidy. Highly recommended.
Very spacious and well equipped, much more space than is normal for three people, including 3 sofas and a huge kitchen table. Outside dining also lovely!
Beautiful cottage in a lovely friendly village. The beds are super-comfy. Really cosy place to stay. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Several great pubs nearby serving excellent food within walking distance. Good base for exploring Cambridge and nearby areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Reading rooms. Very comfortable with a great sized lounge and kitchen. A good central location and perfect for village ‘walkies’ for our dog. We would suggest that a chair in each bedroom would be a thoughtful touch. Thank you

My wife and I really enjoyed this clean, spacious, and convenient place. The village was delightful, pubs and bakeries to eat at, easy free parking right at the door, and easy access to Cambridge and the area.
Louise was easy to work with, very helpful and responsive.
No one would be disappointed staying here while they explored the area.
From the moment I saw the property and entered, I felt calm, relaxed and serene. The property is delightful, hygienic, soothingly decorated and I was able to 'recharge the batteries' which enjoying the Cambridge music festival. Thank you for making the stay so relaxing and I would most definitely return!
We truly enjoyed our short stay in Linton. This cottage was wonderful. We were greeted by beautiful flowers in the front! The cottage is nicely appointed with everything we needed. We appreciated the selection of teas! We also enjoyed reading the history of the ownership of the cottage, dating back to 1604. We enjoyed the coffee shop next door and The Dog and Duck down the street. The cottage was a perfect place to start our exploration of England. Thanks, Louise, for a lovely stay!
This home offered very comfortable furniture and super comfortable bed. Furnished with anything you might need!! Even decorated for Christmas, and milk and cookies awaiting our arrival! Would highly recommend this home if you need accommodations in Linton. You can walk to bakeries, restaurants, pubs and grocery store from this home.
A comfortable, well equipped cottage in the centre of Linton, a charming village close to many attractive places to visit. A half hour bus ride to Cambridge. Would highly recommend it.

Many thanks, Charles. So glad you enjoyed your stay.
The house is exceptionally comfortable and well set up, wry comfortable beds, lovely kitchen and living areas. It’s on the Main Street so incredibly handy to local pubs for a meal, a beautiful cafe, and the bus service to Cambridge is a very short walk away. Louise was terrific to deal with, really helpful, and provides many ideas for looking around the local area. We couldn’t have been happier - thank you for making your place available Louise!
The Old Reading Rooms in Linton was a great stay. The pictures and description does not do it justice. It was larger than we expected. There is plenty of seating and different areas within the living room. I was slightly nervous about the parking, but we literally parked on the street in front of the cottage every day. The kitchen is quite large and well appointed. Being from America, we really appreciated the large bathroom with separate tub and shower as well as separate powder room downstairs. This home is very clean and the beds are very comfortable with soft linens and nice pillows. The village of Linton was a delightful surprise with wonderful pubs (with great vegetarian options!). We’d definitely stay here again, given the opportunity.
We had a great time staying in the Old Reading Room. The cottage is very comfortable, with good amenities. The setting in the middle of the pleasant village of Linton was very convenient, for the local shops, cafe and pubs. Although no allocated parking, we parked right by the cottage all of our stay. There are some great touches by the owners - a large map on the wall pointing out walks and places of interest, games and books.
The cottage is in easy reach of Cambridge and we also went to Audley End. We ran out of time to go to the zoo, but there is always next time...

Gorgeous property
Great location
No parking on site and have to nab a space when available on the main Rd/Market Square.
The cottage is a little haven to come back to after busy days visiting Duxford, Cambridge and the amazing Air show at Shuttleworth. One very happy teenage grandson! It is very well appointed and comfortable and has a lovely little courtyard to sit in. Linton itself is another delight and the Linton Kitchen cafe next door has a excellent selection for lunch.
Great spacious, well kept property in a fabulous location in Linton with the Linton Kitchen a short distance up the road and a bakery almost opposite. Three pubs in the village and a Co-op make this an ideal location. The map on the wall with locations marked and the books are a nice touch. Would stay again.

I live in Linton with my husband and three sons. I moved here when my eldest was 4 months knowing nothing about the village or the location. It is such a friendly place with easy access to Cambridge and there is always lots going on!
I am always discovering things about Linton I didn't know!

My husband lovingly renovated The Old Reading Rooms working with the listed buildings officer and building control officer. With wool insulation, acoustic secondary glazing, reed ceilings coated with lime plaster we really feel it is something special! We hope you love it!
