Gites de Chaignepain is a 5 gite complex in Poitou-Charentes. This listing is to rent just Le Noyer and Le Figuier - 4 bed and 1 bed connected gites with sole use of the facilities including a heated pool, inflatable spa, games room, bikes and garden play area. Both are well equipped for self-catering holidays with private terraces. Le Figuier is all on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. Both are full of rustic character and recently refreshed and furnished with luxury in mind.

Le Figuier - 1 bedroom gite with a patio area with garden furniture & a gas BBQ as well as a shaded terrace with inflatable hot tub and more seating/loungers. You enter into the open plan kitchen, lounge, diner with exposed stone walls and log burner. All on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a superking bed which can be split to form twin beds and a bathroom with a walk in shower and small freestanding bath. The sofa can be set up as a sofa bed to accommodate an extra guest and the bathroom can be accessed from both the lounge and the bedroom.

Le Noyer - 4 bedroom gite (all with en-suite shower rooms) with a private patio area with garden furniture and large gas BBQ. There is a well equipped kitchen/diner with dishwasher, range cooker and american fridge freezer and a large lounge with exposed stone walls and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and 3 bedrooms which can be configured as super-king or twin upon request.

Both gites have fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers. All bedrooms have a fan. French areil and UK Freesat TV is provided as well as WiFi - please note the signal is not strong in this area.

Up to 3x travel cots, bedding, high chairs and stair gates are available upon request.

The gites are next to each other and a door between can be opened upon request. The heated pool is 10x5m with plenty of loungers and cushions, inflatables, toilet and shower and is fenced and secure. The games room has air hockey, table football, table tennis, books, board games, garden games as well as laundry facilities and a full bathroom with a bath and walk in shower.
The garden is fenced and contains swings, slide and wendy house for the children.

Situated in the picturesque Charentaise village of Chaignepain between the market towns of Chef-Boutonne, Melle, Lezay and Sauzé-Vaussais. The village is perfectly placed to provide the peace and tranquility of rural France and easy access to a wealth of local attractions and amenities.
The Poitou-Charentes region of western France is one of the sunniest regions in the country and offers a variety of possibilities for families, adventurers, and romantic escapes alike.
As we have neighbours nearby we do ask that guests take any music or loud noise indoors after 10pm.

A car is essential in this area as there are no amenities within walking distance other than a Routier on the main road. However, Chef Boutonne, Sauze Vaussais, Lezay and Melle are all within an easy 10-15min drive away with all the amenities you require including quality supermarkets, bakeries, post offices, chemists, weekly markets, bars, restaurants, swimming pools and banks.
There is offroad paring available for up to 8 cars.
