RED CARPET STAY IN THE RED CARPET CITY OF THE SOUTH
This was our second time staying at this spectacular property. We drove over 700 miles as there is nothing like it any closer (or probably at all). After all, what other place has a private pool in a warm historic location, with friendly locals and multiple quality restaurants within walking distance? The owner and property manager are first class people who know how to treat guests as if they are family. Please see my review form 5/21 for specific details on the property and neighborhood.

Love this place!
This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed at the property, twice in the pool house and once in the main house. We love both experiences. Everything is always clean! Both the owner and the caretaker are very easy to work with! We will return!

Beautiful and SO clean!
This property is unbelievable! You feel like you stepped back in time, but with all the modern conveniences! The in ground pool is where we spent a lot of our time. The owner and caretaker are extremely helpful and easy to work with. You will not find a cleaner house! We had absolutely everything we needed. We will return!

Can we live here?
WOW! This was possibly the best stay we've ever had. John, the owner, was in constant contact with us, making sure that we were okay. Ms. Lorna, the property manager, met us on-site for check-in and loaded up the fridge with fresh juice, milk, and water bottles. She welcomed us with fresh fruit and beautiful flowers. The private pool was the highlight of our trip. We spent most of our time outside in or around the beautiful pool, enjoying the warm water and calming environment. Downtown was a super quick car ride and would've been a very short walk. The tv was enabled with Netflix and peacock and was super easy to set up. We can't wait to come back and plan on making this a frequent vacation spot! We could not have been more pleased.

VICKSBURG'S VERY VIBRANT VRBO
The wife and I stayed here for a week in early May for a historic small-town vacation. One of our deciding factors on which city to visit was the fabulous property with its large private pool. The pool house was the perfect size for 2. The full kitchen was only lacking a toaster oven as the full-sized one was unnecessary for us. The bed was firm, but comfortable. The walk-in shower had good water pressure and a nice rain head. Hermes soap, pool towels and other basics were provided. The TV had issues, but we were allowed to use the one in the adjacent, unoccupied (gorgeous) mansion. The gas grill provided nice meals for the patio table. The outdoor ceiling fan worked, but had seen better days as one of the five blades was missing. Laundry facilities are available in the garage utility room. The host, John, was very responsive. His local representative, Lorna, was fantastic. We were provided fresh flowers, fruit, water and juices on arrival. She even kindly made some delicious shrimp, rice , pasta and eggrolls for us. She was attentive without being intrusive. The downtown was a 3 block walk away. We drove at night as the surrounding neighborhood looked a bit sketchy after dark. Our reviews of the local restaurants and haunted house will be available shortly. Spoiler alert, our favorite was Walnut Hills which is literally just across the street. Overall, this was our best VRBO experience to date. I can't fathom a better place to stay at in Vicksburg. John has set the standard for future hosts to try and measure up to.
