About this property

Villa Olivia Poolside, Dive villa, 300 m from the Ocean!

A downstairs villa / condo / apartment in the small gated community Perla Boneriano. Perla Boneriano is 100% privately owned. It consists of 7 villas surrounding a lovely pool. The villas are divided into total 12 apartments. It has a very laid back and friendly atmosphere!

Our home is bright, clean and airy, with a nice wind through the windows!

It is ideal for divers, snorkelers, wind & kite surfers as we have an outside shower and a rinse tank, gear drying rods and an outside locker for your drying material.

Our home has a fully equipped kitchen, with a new induction stove, a dining area inside and an outdoor table and chairs and a BBQ to enjoy a nice meal on the porch.

Both bedrooms have two beds each that can be pushed together or separated. We offer a laundry room with washer and a drying rack, as well as some cleaning supplies. For your privacy, the home will be cleaned before your arrival and after your departure.

Both bedrooms and the living room have fans and air-conditioning. All of the windows have mosquito screens so that you can open the windows to enjoy the trade winds through the house.

For your safety, we offer a good size wall safe that fits a 17'' laptop with ease. Although Bonaire is generally a safe island, we do recommend to place your valuables out of sight, in the safe.

We are located in the Hato area and whilst it is a 10 minutes walk to Eden beach; the Dive Friends Dive Pier is across the street at Sand Dollar Resort, Bari reef with it's tiny beach is only a stones throw away.

A gym, drugstore, bookstore and cafes and restaurants are all next door. Everything you need within a 10 minute walk!

Our normal check out time is 11 AM but we aim to be as flexible as possible.

The government of Bonaire charges every tourist aged 13 or older, a tourist-tax of $75,- per person per stay. You can settle this tourist tax directly with the government via the website : https://tourismtax.bonairegov.com/

Last but not least, we are a non smoking property.

Awesome villa complex

This is the second time staying at Villa Olivia. The quite pool with only 7 private villas and close proximity to restaurants, downtime and dive shops is fantastic. Easy check in and out. Villa is spacious and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Great villa.

Very comfortable. Kitchen well-stocked. Great location for diving. Nice to have rinse tanks on-site and a place to hang and store our gear. Air conditioning was a great plus on hot and humid days. Pierre was great, even checked in on us to see if everything was going OK and allowed us to stay late because no one was checking in the same day. Just overall a great place. We have been here before and will return again.

Don't hesitate to book this property. From the time we stepped off the plane, we felt in good hands. Property manager lead us to the home, walked us through the home and answered any questions we had. The community here is small & quaint. The neighbors were so welcoming. A great stay at Villa Oliva

Our stay at villa Olivia poolside exceeded our expectations. The layout of the flat with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a spacious kitchen and living room along with the fans and air conditioning made the stay inside more than pleasant. The kitchen is really fully equipped, we even made a smoothie. The wifi speed is great and the ability to do laundry during an extended stay is top notch. More than enough restaurants within walking distance, a chemist around the corner and if you want to go to a real beach (within walking distance) you can do so at Chogogo beach or Eden beach. The property manager is great, easily accessible and acts very quickly on questions. Highly recommended and wonderful place to come back to.

Villa Olivia Poolside 2 week dive vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Villa Olivia poolside. The purpose of our holiday was to do as much diving as possible and the Villa was the perfect place to do this. The location is ideal with easy access to both the north and south dive sites as well as Kralendijk itself. It’s nice to have a gated, secured community that includes the parking. The diving set up is perfect with a dedicated rinse tank, outside hang bar and padlock to secure the slatted locker for the overnight. Electrical outlets inside are a good mix of 110V and 220V and we didn’t need any converters to charge our array of dive lights, camera, computers etc. The Villa itself is well set up and comfortable for 4 people. We used the oven and stove daily as we shopped and prepared most of our meals. It was great to have food storage containers, some spices and food wrap. Guests at other Villa’s were friendly and we met some really nice people. Any questions with the place were promptly addressed by Frederick, the onsite property manager. The owners Marleen and Jeroen were lovely to deal with and are truly interested in providing a comfortable top notch stay for their guests. We enjoyed our 2 weeks at the Villa and would love to return someday!

We hebben genoten van onze vakantie op Bonaire en het verblijf in villa Olivia poolside. Het is sfeervol, comfortabel en rustig gelegen. Het huis staat met andere villa's rondom een zwembad in een gezellige opstelling terwijl iedereen wel privacy heeft. De eigenaren Marleen en Jeroen communiceren vlot en gastvrij!

Why they chose this property

Villa Olivia Poolside is a ground floor condo which offers all that is needed for a lovely holiday on the island. There is a common pool and on site parking. You will find our apartment clean, spacious and light. The 2 bedrooms are large and both have ensuite bathrooms. The large porch offers a perfect place to have your first morning coffee or a lovely BBQ after a nice active day.
