Exceptional Oceanfront Penthouse Delfshaven Sanddollar Resort

The apartment is located on the 3nd floor and has a loft to the 4nd floor.

When you enter the living room first of all you will be impressed of the magnificent view of the ocean.
We want you to feel at home while you’re away and contains everything you can think of: tv, airconditioning, ceiling fans, comfortabel sofa’s with cosy cushions, dining area and free Wifi.

The kitchen is fully equipped.

Master bedroom is situated right in front of the ocean with open doors which give you the chance to view breathtaking sunrises has a private bathroom, kingsizebed, airconditioning and ceiling ventilator. The 2 additional bedrooms have airconditioning, 4 single beds, wich can be attached to each other and a private bathroom.
All bedrooms contains a wardrobe, bathtowels and extra bedding. One bedroom contains a safe. All windows are screened.

Spacious terrace over the width of the apartment including, ceiling fans,
dining set ,lounge set and hammock.
This appartment is the only one who has a gorgeous loft and thats what makes this appartment so unique from the other appartments in the resort `Sanddollar`
This amazing area gives you a view to see 75% of Bonaire and even Little Bonaire
This is the place to be.. to enjoy the sun, a drink on the sunbeds and to watch the sunset or sunrise.

The apartment is located at the Sanddollar Resort with private parking, diving school, swimming pool, beach, garden and tennis courts. The Resort has security and all these facilities are free of charge. Private dive locker groundfloor.

In the period of Christmas and New Year, 15% service extra costs are calculated. During this period the house can only be rented for a period of two weeks.

Perfect family vacation

We have stayed at various properties at Sand Dollar and this time we needed a 3 bedroom for our family. The condo was excellent and the views are the best in the entire area. Our adult daughter and two grandchildren (15 and 12) had a wonderful stay. The owner Monique was always quick to respond and the property managers Barry and Marion were excellent. The drinks in the fridge and snacks they left for our check-in were a very nice touch.

Beautiful time in Paradise

Our stay was fantastic. The condo views were beautiful overlooking the water. The house reef, Bari Reef was wonderful. We even enjoyed a night dive with two tarpon that followed us around the reef most of the dive. Several delicious restaurants within walking distance of the Sand Dollar. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

Amazing dive trip

We loved our stay at the condo. It has to have one of the best views anywhere on the island. When we weren’t diving we were relaxing on the massive 3rd floor wrap around deck. The owner communicated well and responded quickly to our questions leading up to arrival. The unit is spotless, beds comfy and well stocked kitchen. There is great diving and snorkeling right in front of the unit. Many night divers seem to find a lot of activity as well.

Best location!

Enjoyed our time in Bonaire in this beautiful condo. Just north of downtown so was able to get to and from with no problems. Friends of Bonaire dive shop on property and they were great! Did a total of 21 dives in a week. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. Hope to be back at this piece of paradise soon.

Wonderful hosts met us at the airport and had us follow them to the property where they showed us all the amenities. They stocked the fridge with drinks and snacks for us to enjoy. The condo was beautiful, excellent outdoor space to sit and enjoy the amazing views of the ocean. Easy access to the water for diving, snorkeling or swimming. Plenty of space inside and out for our family of 5.

Excellent choice for Diving Vacation

Great location. Beautiful views. Comfortable residence. Nice dive site just outside of the unit. Convenient and friendly dive shop adjacent to the property. Everything that you need in a comfortable, relaxed and beautiful setting.

Loved this place!!! A view to die for. Day and night snorkeling just steps away. Location was great, close to town, easy drive to other snorkeling sites. Great communication with owner and property managers. I can't say enough good things about this apartment. The food and drinks left in the refrigerator for us was greatly appreciated.

The best condo on the property

We were told not only by Sand Dollar employees but also guests who stay at the complex frequently that the condo was the best on the property and it surely held up to that description. The great views and the amazing trade wind blowing through the whole floor made the living spaces comfortable and relaxing even during the hottest parts of the day. The property managers, Barry and Marion, were delightful and took care of any issues quickly. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay during your island adventures.

Unfortunately Delta canceled our flight

We had been very much looking forward to a week in this beautiful space. However, Delta canceled our flight which is only scheduled once per week, and we had to cancel. We are waiting to see if our travel insurance reimburses us, then we may be able to reschedule for next summer. I am unable to rate anything accurately for this property, but the listing looks beautiful.

Amazing place with gorgeous views

Pictures don’t do justice to this place. View from terrace is simply amazing. Inside is clean well organized and elegant. Property manager met us at the airport to help us with all the suitcases and also on the end for return trip to airport. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Views to die for!!!

WOW!!! such a wonderful stay at Delfshaven! Perfect place for our week in Bonaire. Great location, amazing snorkeling right out front, nice dive locker for all our gear. Condo was clean, bright, airy with comfortable beds and seating. Kitchen well equipped. Berry met us at the airport, helped us get our rental car and then showed us the way to the condo. Even brought a welcome food basket....amazing! Make sure to see the donkeys and flamingoes and Sorbonne beach is fabulous!! Plenty of fantastic restaurants all around the place. Thank you so much for making our week truly wonderful!

Gorgeous Penthouse Apartment

This is a beautiful open spacious penthouse apartment in very quiet the Sanddollar development. Huge balcony to watch the water from during the day, then the sunset in the evening. We could hardly get ourselves to go out as it was so lovely peaceful and quiet here. Lots of other friendly people around to chat with if that is your thing. I would highly recommend this place to stay. We have to go someplace else next year as it is already booked for when we wanted to come. Book it early if you want it. Grab it when you see it as it maybe gone.

Breathtaking!

I booked this property at the last minute, literally the day before I was leaving for vacation. I contacted the host, Monique and she was able to make accommodations with less than 24 hours. Her staff is amazing! They arranged a pickup to and from the airport. The condo was clean, the fridge was stocked with food and beverages for a light lunch. The view from the balcony was breathtaking! The breeze from the ocean set the tone for the day and night. The rooms were very nice. You can snorkel or dive within feet from the condo. I enjoyed the beach. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. Bonaire is a beautiful island with beautiful people. I will return!

Beautiful accommodations on Bonaire

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The wraparound porch was so pleasant for relaxing and the view was beautiful. Monique was able to meet us at the airport and escort us to the property. She had cold drinks and snacks for us after a long journey. The condo was clean, comfortable and the beds were great. It was only the two of us but 6 adults could live comfortably. We got our air from Dive Friends right next door. We were assigned a dive locker there. They have a rinse station also. It was very easy each morning to pick up tanks and gear and head for the deep. I highly recommend this property. Convenient to town and perfect location if you like to dive both the south and the north. Thank you Monique!

Amazing views/exceptional property!

We had a such a fantastic week at Delfshaven! Monique and Marion met us at the airport and kindly assisted with the rental car and checking us in to the condo. They provided snacks, beverages and a light lunch so we did not have to go to the store the first day-what a nice touch! Monique was very attentive and always responded in a timely fashion if there was anything we needed. What a beautiful condo-so private and the views of the sea are to die for! We already miss the daily sunrises and sunsets and the panoramic view from the balcony and loft! And the reef right outside the door is so beautiful, what a treat to just walk steps away from the condo and jump into an amazing underwater world! The constant sea breeze blowing throughout the condo is a plus as well-we definitely felt like we were in a tropical paradise! And you can walk to several restaurants and shops and even to an area closeby to see the flamingos!! We were sad to leave, but Monique and Marion met us at checkout and again showed such hospitality and kindness and even bid us farewell as we drove away. What a special place and what wonderful people-we hope to come back someday soon! Thanks again for sharing your lovely piece of paradise:)

I’d do one thing different

I treated my Niece, Nephew and Sister to a trip to Bonaire. I was there 35 yrs ago, for 10 days. It was the first place I dove. Kline, from what I saw was as beautiful now as it was years ago. This condo all I can say…..THE WIEW!! This view is what dreams are made of…jaw dropping. Berry, Marion and Monique were great to work with and answered any questions we had.We were so busy the entire time and sure could have used some extra days. The one thing I would have done different is hire cooks to prepare our dinner right there at the condo since we have the best view on the island. We dove with two dive shops. Hands down the best shop without question was the little Mom and Pop, family run shop. TROPICAL DIVERS! Michael Blooms was our dive master (we used a dive master since my Sister only had 30 dives, Niece had less. I am not going to bash Dive with Friends, except a couple things….they use a cattle boat. This can put a new diver in jeopardy. I had over 340 dives some deep, cold, raging currents such as Cocos, Galapagos, Socorro, Tahiti (liveaboards) and many, many more. Anyway, Dive Friends made me take a refresher course. ridiculous! Had it been a year ago with only 8 dives I could understand. But I have done in many, many tough places over 340 dives. Back to condo, view was awesome. selfishly don’t want to tell he world. ONLY bad was one shower drain had foul sewer smell two days of our week.

Seriously, if this place is available for the week you're looking, book it now! All the reviews you'll read on this are accurate - this place is the best. Amazing snorkeling right outside and the views can't be beat! The condo complex is quiet and I love that the deck on this place isn't screened in (like a lot of other units here). The only negative I have (and it's minor) is that the lighting in the main room is crummy. We like to play games at night and it was really hard to get enough light to do that. I had to drag in lamps from other rooms and it was still pretty dark. But if that's the only down side then that's pretty dang good. Berry picked us up at airport and took us back (very early in the morning) and was completely reliable. Again, book this place - you won't be sorry!!

Great location and great host/accommodations

This property was a great as it looks in the pictures. We spent two weeks and it was really wonderful. They greeted us at the airport and that was really helpful and appreciated. We felt welcome and it was easy to settle into things. The island itself is easy to navigate and friendly. We found it best to have a rental car in Bonaire. Two bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms and the other bedroom was right outside and private. The view from the condo was really awesome and it was relaxing and enjoyable to sit and have tea/coffee in the morning or watch the sunset in the evening. You can just walk right outside the condo and head into the water. Also, the restaurant Eddy's right at Sand Dollar was AWESOME but make a reservation for sure. Dive Friends was great and very easy to work with as well as super convenient location for boat dives. They also can provide guided dives at various locations on the island. The island was great, the diving was super enjoyable and the condo and location was spectacular. Thank you so much!

Best views on the island

We just returned from a 10 day stay in this condo. All in all, things went well. Check in was easy, everyone was communicative and friendly. Condo was as advertised with great views. Diving was great just right outside of the condo and the dive shop was convenient. Two things I would mention, the condo is in great need of interior painting. Walls were scuffed and there was what looked to have been something that exploded in the living room area as the upper part of the walls had what appeared to be a brown splatter on all sides. Also, although during our stay, it was excessively hot in Bonaire (mid to high 90’s), the AC didn’t seem to be able to keep up in the common areas. There is AC in the three bedrooms but not in the common area. Again, it was a rather unusual hot spell while we were there. We have been to Bonaire three times now and we would return to this condo.

Wonderful week at Bonaire

Booked this unit for the location. I was very happy with the condo. Check in was easy and the hosts are great. It was so nice that they stocked the fridge with some basics for us. We could enjoy lunch and drinks after arriving. If you are diving with Dive Friends Sand Dollar location -- this location of the condo can't be beat! It is a short walking distance to the business. Additionally, you can bring your tanks and jump right in the water in front of the condo. The condo is big and airy. We were blessed with nice breezes and decent temps end of April. Note there is no screens in this unit. We did not experience any bugs, so we were able to leave the doors open and fans on and enjoy the breeze. Beds were decent, not my firmness, but that is a personal opinion. Condo has everything you need to make the stay easy. Linens and towels are provided. The washing machine worked great and there was a drying rack. Kitchen has all you need including the dishwasher. I recommend this condo.
