Large, ocean-front, luxury 3 bedroom condo!

Isn't it about time you splurged for the best? This massive 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2nd floor condo has over 2200+ s.f. of living space with a front deck large enough to throw a football. We've screened it in so the bugs won't get you and you don't fall. Everything in here is high end; all built for comfort and elegance. This is a guarded community so no shenanigans, just peace and quiet and extra long naps. Did I mention Sand Dollar has its own beach here? Yes we do, and steps right down to the water for when you want to dive or snorkel our private reef. Need a dive shop to switch out tanks etc? Got it! Need a dock? Got that too. Need a restaurant and bar on-sight with a swimming pool? Of course you do!! Why you would want a swimming pool though is beyond me; the ocean is right there and since it's between Klein Bonaire and Bonaire, there are almost no waves... Awesome. Still, it looks good in the photos. Tennis courts? You already know the answer; just don't come ask me to play cause I'm horrible at tennis. Looking for an edible fruit bearing tree? We have some of those too, but I must admit, fruit tastes like crap. I advise against it, but we already know what you're going to do when you see it. (same thing I did).
Anyways, what are you waiting for? Yes, we're usually booked solid, but if you found an open spot, take it and laugh at the others who missed out.

Beautiful!

This property is updated throughout from the ceilings to the floors. The furniture and beds are comfy and the appliances are top notch. Oh… and what a great ocean view from the patio! I’m so glad we stayed here : ) The owner was super fast in answering any questions we had before and during our stay. We would be thrilled to stay here again!

Family trip

We loved the condo and all the amenities. The patio was huge and great for quiet time reading. Kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. We used Dive friends for our dives. The pier on site is excellent for easy access to diving. The surroundings we saw lots of birds. We would love to come back.

We really loved the place. Giant balcony with great view of the ocean and sunsets. AC work great in all rooms. WIFI was good. Dive Friends Dive Shop right next door. Would definitely return.

Wonderful Condo in Sand Dollar!

The condo itself is AMAZING!! Super clean, well stocked, spacious, PERFECT. The Sand Dollar has great dive accessibility, a wonderful beach, friendly helpful staff. And this condo was just perfection, will definitely be back!

As advertised

The condo was nicely furnished and we appreciated the screened porch to keep out the biting insects. Susie, the host, responded almost instantly to any questions or issues and the maintenance crew in took care of any problems. We enjoyed sitting in the little pavilions at sunset, easy access to the sea and the long walking paths.

Fabulous sea front apartment

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Terrific swimming and snorkeling. Great kitchen for cooking and a huge screened porch looking out at the sea. The Sand Dollar crew was organized and on their game. Fabulous sunsets!

Fantastic Vacation Stay

This was our second stay in this property which should indicate how much we enjoy it. This condo has it all, location, ocean front, walkable to restaurants and beautiful decor. Unit is large enough for everyone to have privacy and love having three full baths. Manager is very responsive & quick to respond. Highly recommend.

Spectacular Family Vacation

The condo was amazing! Was even better than the photos on line. Terrace was my favorite place to be when inside. Ocean views & sunsets were breathtaking. Location was walkable to restaurants, stores & dive shop. Host was quick to respond to all questions. This was our first stay on Bonaire but won't be our last.

Beautiful Island Getaway

The condo is great. It is well stocked with essentials like towels and kitchen items. The view from the balcony is stunning. The owner and staff on site were all very friendly and easy to deal with. The on-site restaurant, Eddy’s, was our favorite of all the area restaurants we visited. The diving and snorkeling right out the door is very good. It is nice to not always have to go somewhere else to enjoy the beautiful waters of Bonaire.

Fantastic 3 bedroom apartment with sea view

We had an extended stay in this terrific three-bedroom apartment on the second floor. It’s right on the sea with easy access and great diving and snorkeling. Easy access to the northern dive sites and the national park and town is a decent walk away. We cooked a lot in the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked and very handy. Great bathrooms and a fantastic big porch. Bonaire is this wonderful island and this location is superb.

Great place to stay on Bonaire

E2 is a lovely condo in Sand Dollar that has been beautifully renovated. The kitchen is great with everything you need The unit even has two coolers you can use for trips out. Sand Dollar is on Bari reef and has Dive Friends associated with it. It’s easy diving and great for night diving The tarpon we’re spectacular this trip due to swarms of small fish. Perfect for our group

The property was just as described and the photos accurately reflected the space. The kitchen was well-appointed and the outdoor living space was excellent for our dive and kiteboarding equipment to dry and provided great sunset views. The property is in a great location, close to a Dive Friends location, and easy to get in and out of. The space was perfect for our trip with three adults but could have easily accommodated three couples. Bring your own shower soaps but besides that it was perfect. In our particular situation, they allowed a late check-out so we could leave our bags in the apartment until we went to the airport. We would stay here again!

Sand Dollar

Very nice complex with a couple of good nearby restaurants. Condominium was good quality, spacious and well appointed. Some repair work needed, a tear in the gauze on the veranda, rubber around the door coming away. Reported to the check in staff. Owner provided helpful and constructive advise before arrival. Somewhat surprised that after our arrival did not hear from the owner again. Snorkelling outside the condominium was good but sadly 2 days of strong wave activity damaged the small close in corals.

Sand Dollar Unit E2

I recently had the pleasure of staying at condo E2 at Sand Dollar Resort in Bonaire, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The condo was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering all the comforts of home with the stunning ocean views. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the island. The location of the resort is ideal, right on the waterfront with direct access to some of the best snorkeling and diving spots on the island. The house reef is teeming with marine life, and it was amazing to be able to walk right out of the condo and into the water. Both Eddy's restaurant and Breeze's and Bites were amazing and not expensive. This was our 2nd time to Bonaire so we went by VRBO and it was by far better than using a resort. Sand Dollar made check in and out very simple and efficient. Will be back in a year.

What a wonderful experience. Our condo was very comfortable and relaxing, and the location was great. It is between two dive shops - Dive Friends and Buddy Dive - and we had good experiences with both. Great location for snorkeling right off the property. One room was set off from the others, giving it a very private feel. The view is spectacular. Breeze 'n Bites and Pizza Mare had great food and were just a few minutes walk from the condo. Nights were very peaceful, making it easy to relax after long days in the sun. Our teens could roam freely with no worries. Overall one of our best vacations and this was a great spot to have as our base. The last night there was a fireworks display nearby and made for a bit of magic before we had to go. We definitely want to return!

This wonderful apartment is spacious, newly renovated, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view is fantastic from the screened-in xlarge balcony. We love the Sand dollar location the best of all the places we stayed. It’s laid back, large grounds and the best snorkeling &diving right in front. And Ilsa at the front desk is super helpful The owner is super responsive and helpful beyond words, so grateful for her assistance. I highly recommend this property. We will be back!

We love this place!

Between my family and friend groups I've stayed in several Bonaire VRBOs over the years and have to say this unit rates right at the very top. The condo is not only waterfront with incredible water views (west facing for beautiful sunsets every night!), but is also a very well appointed unit (we cooked several meals) with a super functional floorplan. The bed & bathroom layout is perfect for couples, families, or in my case a group of guys with lots of scuba gear. The entire west side of the condo is retractable glass doors and a retractable glass wall... and i can't understate how awesome this is! The condo is already large, but the sliders open onto a HUGE indoor/outdoor screened patio that became the hub for all our activities. I've stayed in other areas on the island, but this VRBO is in the neighborhood of Hato which is my favorite by far. It's centrally located to the good restaurants, fast access to either the north or south dive sites, and close to the best gelato! There is also a swimming pool and tennis court on the property, but i did not use them (on this trip). However, I'll be back! This is the best VRBO on the island.

An absolute GEM.

Fabulous accommodations in Bonaire. 3 Bedroom (Featuring TWO masters suites), 3 bathrooms with an OUTSTANDING outdoor screened balcony. We ate several dinners out at places on the water only to realize takeout (takeaway in Bonaire) and eating on our private balcony was much more enjoyable. Unit E2 is CLEAN with modern appliances and fixtures including a clothes washer and dryer (something that was important for us to have). Some of the most enjoyable snorkeling we did was from the ladder directly in front of our unit. There are great reefs in both directions. (Travel tip, park to the North outside Captain Don's Habitat, walk back then snorkle North from the Sand Dollar....perhaps a half mile). Hop in the car and you are back to the Sand Dollar property in 3 minutes. We couldn't have been happier here for our 35th anniversary and will book this unit on our next trip to Bonaire!

You Want To Stay Here and at Sand Dollar

Sue’s place is one of the best units in Sand Dollar- we talked to a few people, and the size/layout and location make it one of the best condos on the property. Everything was very perfect during our stay. We were all around Bonaire - and we loved it - and, Sand Dollar is the best place to stay on the island. The Dive Friends shop is top-notch, the Bari Reef pier is the best dive site setup (tanks, rinse, shower, benches all 10 feet from ladder and leap entry/exit). This is all a 5 minute walk from Sue’s place. The Sand Dollar property is huge and has some of the best sunsets, looks right across to Klein Bonaire. Sand Dollar staff were super helpful all the time. Bonaire is a very special place, it’s a must-go if you love to dive.

Perfect

The condo was perfect. The furniture and beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was great and the view was beautiful. We loved being able to use the pier next door to dive Bari Reef. This is an amazing place to stay and we’ll definitely be looking to book it again the next time we are in Bonaire.

We have been coming to Bonaire for many years to scuba dive. Bonaire has some of the best shore diving and we've become a scuba family with our 2 oldest children most recently certified.

We love this property because it is so close to the ocean and has beautiful views. You can scuba dive or snorkel right at the property dive ladders and dock. The condo features many updates and is comfortable and relaxing when you're not in the water.
