Lovely clean and well kept. Nice quiet area but still close enough to be able to walk into york centre. Would not hesitate to book this property again.
Centrally located.15 minutes walk to the Minster.Basically furnished but has everything you need.Hosts left a bottle of
wine,a lovely touch.Very clean throughout.
The house is a brilliant location to walk into York. The living room was cosy when fire was on but the rest of the house was cold, a couple of hours of heating was not enough to keep the house warm when the weather was cold and wet. Bits of the house are in need of attention, bathroom grouting and damp spots on bedroom walls.

We had a great stay at this cottage.
We had a great stay at this cottage. Great location to visit York, about 20 minutes walk to the city. A warm, cosy cottage that has all the equipment you need, comfortable beds, stairs are a bit steep but as expected for an older property. Train line runs next to the house but it's quiet at night times and didn't bother us. Nice welcome pack and dog blankets for sofa's. Shop and take aways close by. Parking is on the road and i was able to park outside the house but you need to reverse down the street which is a bit narrow due to cars parked both sides. I would book this cottage again if visiting York.
