To the rear of the property is a lovely little park with a great kids' play area.
My house is always very clean and well-equipped.
You will be close to the railway museum, the Ouse River & the City.

Great location. Very small but nicely done. Very steep stairs. Missing basics such as bottle opener and coffee pot or maker. No electrics in front bedroom and unable to sort this during our stay. No info on heating. Excellent local cafe.

Clean property.Good heating. Very well equipped.The Bathroom and toilet are downstairs so any night time toilet trips have to be done very carefully with the steep stairs.free parking on the street. Great to have pet free accommodation as I have severe allergies.

A great location for a weekend away in York. The property was spotless when we arrived and great communication from the owner. 25 minutes to walk into the centre of York, via the river path and free in street parking was a real bonus.

For context we had booked a one bedroom apartment in York centre which was cancelled at short notice so had to secure alternative accommodation. We would not necessarily have opted for this location as it is 30 minutes walk into York centre. We did however gain a bedroom, and a full Kitchen for 80 less than our original booking and the walk was never more than 30 mins, often less and along the river so pleasant. We’d apportioned the refund for Ubers, but only used twice at an overage of 8 each. The house is like staying in someone’s home and not the luxury of a designated apartment, and there were a few points for improvement which I will suggest to the host, but the fundamentals were good. Warm efficient heating, easy to get access, a responsive host comfortable beds, a hot powerful shower, smart tv and a full kitchen and table for four. We don’t use the back yard but I imagine in summer will be pleasant and quick access to a number of green spaces.The stairs are steep, which may prove an issue for some. It is compact but more than comfortable for the two of us. Four people sharing would be cosy but fine short term. A good experience overall and I would definitely stay again !

Propre, bien situé et calme, stationnement facile dans la rue et gratuit, à 30 minutes à pied du centre sinon payer très cher le parking . Très bien pour 4 personnes.L'annonce n'indique pas que l'escalier n'est pas fait pour les personnes à faible mobilité car il est très raide. Les deux lits de 90 cm avec matelas confortables mais les lattes des lits doivent être isolées du sommier car le grincement est insupportable.Manque les petits linges de toilette et savon/shampooing.Sinon on à trois personnes ont a bien aimé
