Set privately within the grounds of the owner's house, The Lodge in Wherstead provides all ground floor accommodation with a stunning decked area over looking the gardens. The kitchen has been equipped with a combination microwave and hob and fridge with icebox so it's possible to cook a simple evening meal or enjoy a cooked breakfast. However, there are so many delightful restaurants and pubs to enjoy locally so you might find yourself dining out each evening. You're on holiday after-all. The safari themed open-plan sitting and dining room has comfy seating, wall-mounted Freeview television with Netflix and a dining area with seating for up to two guests, and further seats can be found in the kitchen. The light and airy bedroom with wall-to-wall windows features a luxurious 6' super-king size bed which can be configured as twin 3' single beds on request - ideal for two friends holidaying together or a mother-daughter duo. The Lodge boasts a contemporary shower room with large walk-in shower.

Outside, there is a large, private deck accessed through french doors in the sitting room. The deck overlooks the pretty garden and is an ideal spot for enjoying some peace and tranquillity. Parking is available for up to one car.

The village of Wherstead is located three miles south of Ipswich along the Shotley Peninsula, an unspoiled area of Suffolk with beautiful views and landscapes.

One small, well behaved dog is welcome (small extra charge). Please be aware that the homeowners have dogs of their own.
An infant is welcome however you will need to bring your own cot and linen.
