About this property

Our semi-water front 1000 sq ft renovated "Sailing Suite"[lower 2 levels] best accommodates max 4 adults & 2 children. It has 2 bedrooms [1 on each level] each with a queen bed, 1 full bath, full kitchen, living room, rec room with futon & air hockey table, washer/dryer, Wi-fi & Gas BBQ. Our home can be enjoyed during any season of the year. 7 day rentals are preferred during July & August [Saturday-check-in]. Extended stays welcome.

This is a great place to vacation with family as it is right across the road from the beach [beach is a little rocky so bring your watershoes or flipflops], includes a swimming platform & boat buoy. Please let us know when making a booking if you require use of the buoy-1st come 1st serve basis.
This is a pet-free, smoke-free environment [no smoking of any kind on the premises]. There is an entrance on the ground level & a second entrance off the large brand new deck in 2021 overlooking the water.
Our 2nd suite [The LakeHouse] enters from the backside of the building allowing for privacy for each unit. Parking is available for 2 average-sized vehicles. If you are coming to the area to invite a lot of friends/family over-our place is not for you- as we have limited parking area.
Planning a family gathering or bringing a larger group, the entire house [over 2100 sq ft] is available for bookings. Can sleep 10-12 with the luxury of 2 full kitchens & 3 bathrooms. Fantastic for boating

We had a great stay! The house was spacious and clean; all the amenities we needed including air conditioning as it was a hot week. Perfect weather for boating and swimming. The dock and mooring buoy were just what we needed for our boat. The covered patio and bbq area was very nice! The beach was nearby, as was the marina.

Great property!

The home was better than epected, pictures do not do it justice. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the veiw. It was great to have easy access to our boat tied on the buoy. Bev was great to deal with and we look forward to staying here again.

Fantastic Trip!

The brand new deck and BBQ hut was a great addition to the last time we stayed here. Everything in the listing is accurate, and Bev is very easy to get a hold of. We will be back for another stay.

Family vacation

We had a great vacation in Blind Bay. We rented the whole house as there were 11 of us, from ages 5 to 72. The teenagers found the “secret loft”!!! The house accommodated us all, was clean, well equipped and had lots of deck space. The private dock and beach area were a bonus as we had our own boat and could leave it in the water all week. Although the beach was rocky it didn’t seem to bother the kids. The owners were easy to contact and accommodating. The only concern we had were the busy road between the house and the water. Also it would be nice to have a water cooler in the Sailing Suite as well as the Lake house section of the rental. We had a great week in this rental and would certainly recommend it to others. Thank you!

We spent several years looking for the right place to vacation and we believe we have found it at Blind Bay on the Shuswap. The weather is wonderful, the view is fabulous and the people are oh so friendly!

What makes this property unique

Renting our entire place is great when relatives or two families want to vacation together but enjoy their own space at the end of the day. Back door [a 3rd exit] from Sailing Suite allows for quick entrance into the LakeHouse.
