About this property

Cozy Vermont home for your Summer and Fall getaway

Located in the beautiful Chimney Hill neighborhood, our house is just a short drive to Mount Snow! Our house has 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms both with wood burning stoves, and sleeps 8 adults. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is seating for 8 at the dining room table (with 2 additional high top seats at the counter top bar).

On the main level, you will find the kitchen, dining area, living room, a bathroom and 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed (no closet available, as its in use as a locked owner's closet). Downstairs, you will find a full bathroom (with a full bathtub, as well as a washer and dryer), another living room and 3 bedrooms - 2 with queen beds and 1 with a twin over double bunk bed. The top bunk is only available for guests under 100 lbs.

The living room on the main level has a TV with cable, Netflix, a DVD player (with a selection of movies), and some board games. The downstairs living room has a TV with cable, Netflix, an Xbox and Nintendo Wii (with a selection of games). A big hit with kids of all ages!

The Chimney Hill community clubhouse is available for our guests' use during their stay - you'll have access to both an indoor heated and outdoor heated pool (summer only), an indoor hot tub, fitness center, kids play room/game room, a movie room and a BYOB bar/kitchen. Near the outdoor pool is a children’s playground. There are also an ice skating pond, a duck pond/fishing area, as well as basketball and tennis courts.

We are located within a short drive to Mount Snow, with world class skiing/riding, as well as a golf course and mountain biking. The Haystack trailhead is within walking distance to our house; no need to worry about parking!

Four wheel drive and good tires are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED in the winter and spring. The neighborhood is hilly and when conditions are snowy, icy or muddy, navigating the streets can be tricky.

Our house is available for longer stays in the summer and fall (no more than 29 days). Please message me about rates and fees. When making a reservation request, please provide details about yourself and your group and the reason for your visit to our area.

Lovely summer home

Perfect home for my friends and I to work remotely from and enjoy the surrounding hikes, distillery, and small towns! Megan was very communicative during our stay. House is well stocked. The neighborhood association is a plus - full of nature but with the amenities of tennis courts, a pool, and clubhouse alongside the hiking trails.

Great Cabin for Southern Vermont stay

Great place for our family to stay for a month in Vermont. Very well-outfitted cabin with games, kid books, and lots of kitchen supplies. Indoor and outdoor pool in the complex was a great benefit. Back deck is a relaxing spot to hang out.

Quiet home in a beautiful location

We did a month long summer rental and had a wonderful time. This was the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. All we needed to supply were sheets. Any other supplies you could possibly need, they had. Megan was a wonderful host and provided a ton of information about the area. We were able to walk from the home to the hiking trails for Haystack Mountain. The clubhouse and pools (indoor and outdoor) were great for my kids. The location was convenient for exploring southern Vermont. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Cabin Getaway

This was the perfect location for a step away from busy lives. It was cozy and just the right size for a couple of friends to hang out. The kitchen was great for cooking and we hung out on the back porch to enjoy the sunshine. The living room was perfect for games and movie night. And it's just a short walk to the clubhouse for swimming and sunbathing by the pool. I can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time here! The house was clean, came with plenty of supplies, grounds were well cared for. The Wi-Fi worked great. We had two teenagers, and they loved the downstairs area with the pool table and ping-pong table. The entire house had a great sound system also.

Summer week long getaway!

We had great time, plenty to do both in and around house/town. House was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with essentials. Loved the peace and solitude. We had a Tropical storm during our stay, lost power and had down power lines. Owners were easy to contact, Megan was very responsive and extremely pleasant. Highly recommend this property.

Took 3 young adults snowboarding at Mount Snow plus my husband and myself. We all had a blast!!! This house was perfect!! Snowboard all day then came home and played board games and pool. The owner, Meghan, was quick to respond to any text or email that I sent and it was clear that her priority was to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The home was very cozy and clean and we would definitely recommend staying there to any of our friends. Thank you Meghan!!

Why they chose this property

We love snowboarding at Mount Snow and were looking for a 'home away from home' in Vermont. With a growing family, we knew we'd need space for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy their downtime. We love spending quality time at our home in Vermont, and inviting friends and family to stay with us. The clubhouse pool is a perfect way to end a day of riding at Mount Snow; in the summer, the outdoor pool movie nights are a favorite! We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

Located just around the corner from the trailhead of the Haystack Trail, it's perfect for nature lovers. The views at the top are phenomenal! Also, we are just 15 minutes to Mount Snow and just about an hour to Okemo and Stratton Mountains. To top it off, there are conveniences like grocery stores and other cute shops right in downtown Wilmington, just 10 minutes from our house.
