Location and building conditions are excellent. Our family of 12 adults rented 3 apartments and were very comfortable and felt safe at all times. There’s an abundance of local shops, markets, restaurants, and transport services well within walking distance. The directions for picking up the keys at one building prior to getting to the apartment was a bit confusing; turns out to be easier than described (would advise owner to update and simplify). Taxi to key pickup & then to apartments was reasonably priced. Would recommend to small and large parties.

Great locations but poorly maintained property

Location is very convenient. But the property is poorly maintained. Holes in the wall, broken shelves, no hot water in one of our apartments. One of the windows was also missing shielding which let in a lot of street noise. Insufficient number of towels and bedsheets for our group size.

Location is not what is advertised

Location misleading and we had a break-in. Nothing stolen but stuff rummaged through and spent the rest of the trip hyper-vigalent. The key is all through an app (an email link) so there is no way to lock the door from inside. Family felt unsafe and there was no one to do anything. Should have stayed in a hotel.

They draw you in with one ad, then tell you it's not available but it's another flat.Not able to access property, instructions sent too late, had to rent a hotel...and still waiting to hear back from them on compensation.When finally in the property no hot water.

The apartment is equipped with high quality appliances and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was easy and check in/out was seamless. This district exists since 1860, after the demolition of the medieval ramparts. Today it is a vast commercial and residential district. Its perpendicular streets, give the city a new vision.
A small Museum in the open air, the "Golden square" concentrates the biggest number of modernistic buildings in the city. Frontages of wood, glass, iron and ceramics: an architectural delight. This area is famous for its modern architecture. The building frontages are almost never the same. Barcelona’s Eixample district is the result of the city’s expansion project drawn up by the famous architect Ildefons Cerdà and begun in 1860. It is one of the world’s most unusual urban spaces and Barcelona’s personality lies, to a great extent, in the unique layout of this district.
The modernist hallmark is centered around a relatively small area, the central hub of the Passeig de Gràcia, being the most elegant quarter for shopping.
