Hidden Oasis

Great property located away from the rest of the development (end unit). Pool with a view was refreshing after a hot day exploring the island. Close to the beach. Highly recommend!

We had a nice stay in the Halcyon Heights condo. The proprietor was very nice and helpful, providing info on recommended restaurants and other tips. The condo was clean and was in a good location, but the unit is very dated circa 1970’s and needs an upgrade and some maintenance issues taken care of. They provided two bottles of water which was nice, as the unit uses rain water and you have to buy bottled water to drink or cook with. They have a refrig/freezer, but it is a bit noisy. We unplugged it when we were in the living room. They provided beach chairs and a towel which was nice. The toilet seat does not stay up and should be replaced. There is an iron and ironing board but the ironing board is broken and needs replacing. You have a view of the ocean from the large balcony but it is right above the road so there is some road noise. The pool is nice but needs a cleaning, and side painting but has a great view of the water and sunsets. Lots of flowers and flowering trees! We met many people at the pool which was nice We had a car so we drove about 4 minutes down to the ocean parking at Anna’s and walked about a minute. We were told by others that you can walk down in about 10-15 minutes, but walking back takes 15-20 uphill and you are walking on a road with cars on it so you have to watch. We could stay there again as it was a good value at the price point.

Great location for with everything you need

Clean property on a good location. Has everything you need; cool box , beach chairs hairdryer etc. Nice outside space with views of the coast, birds (including humming birds) and lizards. Easy access to Dickinson Bay and St Johns. Would recommend having a hire car

Beautiful Property

Had a wonderful 2 week stay at Helen’s property. The place was cozy and neat. Spacious rooms and well equipped. Very close to Dickinson bay, good restaurants and the supermarket. Great host, very accommodating and available at all times. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back.

Perfect for our needs

We found this property to be ideal for us, tucked away at the end of the complex. Helen the owner was in contact whenever needed and Shona the maid was excellent. It has beautiful views of Dickerson Bay and parking right outside for a hire car. There is a little road noise, but it didn’t bother us.
