Welcome to Saufley House. A charming beach cottage located on the intra coastal waterway on Perdido Key, FL. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay at the beach. 100 ft of private white sand beach. Bring your boat, there is ample parking! Galvez public boat launch is only minutes away. 10 minutes to NAS Pensacola, less than a mile to the Gulf and Johnson's Beach. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps 6 comfortably.

Please take note that I do not rent to anyone under 25 years of age, and I will consider pets for an additional $150 non-refundable fee.

Absolutely perfect, close to restaurants and stores. The private beach was so nice to have and the house had so much room. We loved the wrap around porch too. The neighborhood is very quiet and private with nice people around.

Spring break fishing trip

The house was just fine, it was as expected. There was not a lot of kids around but I enjoyed that. The only thing I found missing for my stay to have been better would have been a hot tub. The house was close to Publix and the dock where our boat for the fishing trip left from was across the bay.

Lovely and Convenient

This property has a nice view of the inter coastal waterway with its own stretch of white sand beach. Easy to find with good parking it is located less than a mile from grocery stores and our favorite fish market. The home has nice furnishings with plenty of cozy places to sit. It has a huge porch that wraps around the house and it was fun to sit outside while we used the gas drill to cook our fish.The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to cook a feast. It sits across from a golf course and there are walkways alongside the road for exercising or dog walking. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Best lil spot in Perdido Key!

1st off- WE WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING TO THIS HOME!!! Sooo peaceful & relaxing. Close to many fun things (we spent most of our time at the beach & at Flora-Bama (GREAT FOOD, ATMOSPHERE- dolphin tours, boat rentals....). The home is INCREDIBLY CLEAN!!! Everything...and more!

An amazing home in so many ways. Kitchen, bathrooms, etc. all incredibly well stocked. I can’t imagine anyone needing anything during their stay besides food and beach supplies! Well decorated, natural lighting abounds, wrap around deck, two areas to rinse off sand before coming inside, and the private beach with fine white sand are all treasures of this property. Free beach access just down the road, state park beach access just to the side of it, and national seashore (our favorite!) just to the other side - everything an easy drive. Quick tip in case it helps other guests - you can order all your groceries ahead of time online from the nearby Wal-Mart then either pick them up for free or have them all delivered at the time of your check in for $10 - totally worth it! We wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again. Karen was an excellent owner to work with too!

Great location on Perdido Key

Pros: Convenient to beaches, on a water setting with small beach area, updated appliances, more private than a condo, very clean, wrap around porch, automated keypad, we’ll appointed kitchen Cons: Very uncomfortable saggy Queen bed in main bedroom, bed had no mattress pad on it and Ill fitting sheets kept sliding off. The sheets on our bed were VERY old and pilled and felt like sleeping on sand. Furniture is well worn and ancient and couch in front of tv is extremely low and very hard to get of and it is sunken in after many years of use. Boardwalk leading to beach is in need of repair due to loose boards, nails sticking up and holes in wood. The area surrounding boardwalk and in front and back of home is full of sand spurs and pets and shoes have to be constantly monitored. Know this can’t be controlled, but wanted people to be aware of it. Those things HURT when stepped on. This could be a very nice rental unit if some money was spent to update it. Unfortunately, the lack of maintenance and age of furniture greatly affected the enjoyment of the rental.

Great house!

Was nice only couple steps up to wrap around porch!! Which is great since I had a knee replacement about year ago! Lots of places to sit on porch..a grill..a hose/shower. Was a couple bees...but did not bother us. The walk way was great to get to the little private beach. Probably the cleanest place we've ever stay! Lots of dishes..nice silverware, pots and pans. Silverware drawer was clean...there's a little coffee station we loved! Furniture was comfy, just wish bed was a tiny bit bigger, but we dealt with it. It's just a cute cozy place. The view watching the boats was wonderful...is private and quiet. Publix grocery is right across the bridge..gas station and a CVS. Only issues was the Smart tv...we are not tech savvy...couldn't figure things out so owner sent us a Cox cable tech. Cleared up all our confusion! Was super after that. There's a wooden box on porch with beach toys for kids if interested a couple chairs but they looked rough, we had our own. All in all we loved this little place we found, can't wait till Sept when we return, especially since my favorite place to go to is 5 miles down the road! (florabama) but you can also walk to Sunset Grille...there's Lillian's pizza bout a mi down road...and Perdido Sports Bar has music and good food! Wonderful house!! See you in Sept!!!

I love staying at this little beach cottage! It is always super clean which is something I look for. The kitchen has all the tools you need to whip up a quick dinner. The porch is great for the kids to play on if it rains and the sand right off the back porch is in the shade and perfect for the kids to play in after they have been in the sun too much. We love this place!

This property was exactly what we were looking for: beach cottage, beach decor, natural setting, off the main highway, access to water, and quiet. Bonus was that the house was extremely clean and well-stocked. In fact, it was the best stocked and clean property we've ever stayed in. The bed in the main bedroom was super comfortable with soft sheets - we got the best sleep here! We actually loved the wooden walkway to the water - it's the Old Florida beach feel and loved the character of it. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the porch looking out to the beautiful oaks and water was a perfect start and finish to the day. The house has great access to the bike path and "Ole River" water, so bring your kayaks and bikes. The owner has a very quick response time in answering questions. This property is A

Private get away

We absolutely loved the location. We had no noisy neighbors because the location is ideal. The private beach and the scenery were awesome. I sat and watched hundreds (literally) of boats go by. My wife and I felt very safe here. Restaurants and shopping were 5 - 10 minutes away. I would highly recommend this place for a small family vacation. It will accommodate 6, but we loved the space and privacy it gave us having 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The wrap around porch and the sitting area on back porch are perfect places to unwind. Lots of space and seating areas inside as well. The place was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely book this trip again!

Wonderful vacation home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on the bay. This vacation spot was perfect for our family. We can't say enough about every aspect as this home is situated inbetween everything we enjoy. The host was very informative prior to our arrival. We felt very welcome as if we were in a home away from home.

Cozy well stocked home

We pulled in and immediately liked the home, felt like a cottage with the full wrap around porch. Inside was comfortable and very well stocked, more so than most rentals. Other condos close by but still felt very private. Loved watching boats and barges going down the waterway. Nothing was lacking, we enjoyed our 9-10 day stay immensely.

A moment created that we never want to end

I just had the astonishing pleasure of staying at Saufley House. I can’t recommend this gem highly enough! This is a slice of “Real Florida” surrounded by nature and convenience that allowed us to blend work, relaxation, and inspiration into a moment we never wanted to end.What makes this place extraordinary is its location right on the intracoastal waterway with its own private beach. The wrap-around porch gave us the perfect spot to unwind after a work-day or soak in the sunset with our chihuahuas. It’s rare to find a place that feels secluded and alive with natural beauty while also being conveniently located.My wife and I needed a space that could support both our professional lives and our need for rejuvenation, and this house delivered. The layout and peaceful ambiance made it a breeze to set up an artist’s studio for my wife and a quiet place for my virtual psychotherapy sessions. We’d work in the mornings, surrounded by blue bird songs, then step outside to recharge on the porch or stroll along our private beach. The convenience of nearby dog park, grocery stores, and restaurants with live music meant we could easily pop out for a meal or a night of fun. Several times we walked to these close by places. And being less than a 30 minute drive from downtown Pensacola allowed us to explore art galleries, “Paw-di-gras” Mardi Gras fest for dogs, entertainment, and history tours whenever we wanted.We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already plotting our return.

Great place to stay

House and location worked great for us. House was very nice and we enjoyed the porch immensely. The house sits by itself and is not a crowded area so we felt like we had our own space. We loved how the house was decorated and especially the plan. Perfect place for couples or small families
