About this property
Host & Stay | Fox Cottage
Summary:
Fox Cottage is a stylish and comfortable home containing everything you could need for a relaxing stay in Northumberland, including an enclosed garden which catches the sun. You’ll find high quality items throughout Fox Cottage which is finished to a great standard. The village of Bellingham offers great pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as a gift shop, an old train station tearoom, the Hareshaw Linn waterfalls and a 18 hole golf course. The Heritage Centre is the local museum, a short walk from Fox Cottage, and Kielder Water is less than 20 minutes away by car.
The Space:
On the ground floor, you’ll find the colourful open plan kitchen and dining area, as well as the warming living room. Super cosy and welcoming, there is wallpaper that reflects the local scenery, and a flat screen TV so it will certainly feel like your home from home. With a lounge style corner sofa and a matching footstool which is equally useful as a coffee table, this is the perfect spot to retreat to on an evening.
Elegant and sophisticated, the kitchen has a combination of blue and green coloured cabinets and light worktops, all with a wooden appearance. Fully equipped for all self-catering stays, the house has a washer, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and microwave.
Also in this room is the dining area which includes a rectangular wooden table, three dining chairs and a bench.
Outside you’ll find a cosy enclosed yard. With outdoor plants, seating and a table, this area has been carefully designed to maximise the space.
Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll arrive at the three bedrooms and the family bathroom. Warm and snug, the master bedroom has a blue feature wall with stylish furnishings and wooden flooring. The comfy king-size bed boasts plush bedding and linens as well as luxury soft furnishings. A private bathtub completes the space.
The second bedroom with its brick-style wall also has a king-size bed, whilst the third bedroom at Fox Cottage is a comfy double.
The bathroom has the same tidy look as the rest of the house. There is a spacious walk in shower, a bathtub, WC, and a basin. Contrasting perfectly with the light blue cladding, there are naturistic tiles added to create a seriously cool look.
