Sea La Vie is a beautiful period brick and flint cottage, perfect for a family or couples on holiday all within easy walking distance of Sheringham’s beaches and town centre with shops, pubs and restaurants all close by. It has been renovated to a very high standard with love and attention to detail and is full of charm that is welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. On entering the property, the front door leads into a small lobby. The cosy living room has a feature fireplace and two sofas. It provides stylish comfortable accommodation and is well equipped with everything needed for that home from home break; there is even an iron, ironing board and hairdryer provided for your convenience. The kitchen allows you to cook and eat very comfortably at home with a table and four chairs, and for those preferring to dine out, there are plenty of eateries on the doorstep. At the rear is an enclosed seating area perfect for relaxation.
The famous ‘Champagne Coast’ Sheringham is a nostalgic area of natural beauty, with unspoilt countryside, whilst the beach is the star attraction. The cliff top golf course welcomes very good players, swimming pool, many charming boutiques, galleries, cafés and restaurants. Also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway. Why not jump on board and travel to the delightful seaside village of Weybourne or visit the Georgian market town of Holt. Sheringham is host to many events and food festivals throughout the year and foodies will love the freshness and mixture of the farmers’ markets.
Popular local events include carnival week held during early August, when you can enjoy all the fun of the fair, and the 1940s celebration weekend held in mid September. For the brave is the New Year’s Day sea swim, when you can participate in a bracing swim or paddle, to celebrate the New Year.
Felbrigg and Blickling National Trust stately houses and gardens are open all year round, whilst Muckleburgh Military and Tank collection has a great selection of vehicles, tanks and guns. Pack up your buckets and spades and head to the seaside. Sheringham beach is right on your doorstep, and the seaside resorts of Cromer, Great Yarmouth and Hunstanton are all within easy driving distance. Wroxham, known as capital of the Norfolk Broads, to enjoy riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. Daily hire and river trips available to explore the miles of waterways, abundant with wildlife. The salt marshes and RSPB nature reserves can be found further along the coast road. Shopaholics will delight with the city of Norwich 45 minutes’ drive or jump on the train, having two indoor shopping malls, market square, cathedral, castle museum, theatre, plenty of cafés, pubs, restaurants to enjoy. Wild swimming and paddle boarding can be found nearby, golf course and clubhouse 3 minutes’ drive away. The train station is an 8-minute walk away. Beach 4 minutes’ walk. Shops, pubs and restaurants all just 4 minutes’ walk.
