Situated in the centre of Blairgowrie, the Old Scout Hall was converted into residential accommodation 15 years ago. It's just a few minutes' walk to shops and eateries. And there is easy access to championship golf courses, top class salmon fishing and the Cateran Trail. Plus the ski-ing at Glenshee is 45 minutes away

I am a former journalist who now runs three self catering properties in Blairgowrie. My wife is from Ireland and is a nurse.
Why they chose this property
We moved to Blairgowrie to run a six bedroom bed and breakfast but that had to close during the Covid outbreak.
Blairgowrie is a quiet town but has plenty to attract people such as a multitude of golf courses, premium salmon fishing, skiing in the winter and plenty of walking routes.

What makes this property unique
Our properties are all win a very short walk of the town centre. I used to think people wanted to be out in the countryside but now realise that after a hard day touring or playing golf or fishing, it’s much better to be where guests don’t need to use a car in the evenings.
