This is a negative review, but it shouldn’t be. For our party (with children aged 8, 8 and 11 that love to play in water if not too cold), the main problem was the pool heating, which wasn't functioning. Despite being informed that it had been turned on the day prior to arrival, the heating wasn't turned on until Thursday evening, just before our departure on Saturday morning. This was especially frustrating since it turned out to be just a setting problem that could have been delt with when we found out on day 1 (and not a mechanical problem as suggested early without looking). There were minor issues such as a late check-in penalty where the person checking us in was later than us. The presence of ants and a cockroach in the house was not great, although we recognize that this is a semi-tropical environment and the house did look overall clean. The garden pictures provided in the listing were misleading as the pond area (half the grounds) including views is fenced off. The house had electrical problems, with loose power sockets and many non-functioning lamps. I acknowledge positives mentioned in other reviews: being spacious, the kitchen being well-equipped, allowing to prepare meals comfortably. The location was convenient, offering easy access to the city. The views from provide a pleasant backdrop for my stay. However, negatives in particular the delayed response overshadowed these positives, making the overall experience less enjoyable
