Family vacation.

The house was conveniently located. It had the necessary bedrooms and the screen porch was wonderful. The house does need a detail cleaning and maybe spray for bugs. A bug was found in one of the beds and we found three roaches. It was a friendly neighborhood. We would stay there again.

A Blast from the 70s

House had everything we needed and in great location, but it smelled like dirty feet the whole time. We had to get air fresheners for each room. Also could stand some remodeling. Floors felt dirty, especially carpet areas.

Lovely time

The property location was great. Quiet community with lovely beaches and friendly people. Access to the beach and local eateries were appteciated. The house was aged but quaint. The house style was definitely common with houses it's age in the xommiunityy. Nice privacy. Unfortunate that all main level bathrooms were accessible only through bedrooms. It worked for us but 1 bedroom had only other bedroom bathroom access. (That bedroom was a later deck to bedroom conversion). One bedroom and bath were ground level with no indoor access to the rest of the house. This gave our young adult sons some privacy (but odd living arrangement). Read reviews and came prepared with air fresheners etc. but unit was equipped generously with air fresheners. The ac, refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher and beds were all good. Being older there were fewer outlets but the house was equipped with lots of power strips and extension cords The stove NEEDS replacing. It looks and works like it was original to the construction of this older house. The flooring in main living area has newer laminate but creaked with every step. The floors were very uneven. Kitchen supplies were plentiful. We liked the hominess and enjoyed the location. A new stove and access to bathrooms for all would be clinchers to a return. Bathroom renovations and more comfortable living area and decor would be nice perks. We were not in pawleys with the expectation to be overwhelmed with home convenience and comfort. We were happy here.

Not happy

Dirty, run down, appliances did not work properly, skylights leaked, screened porch door does not close and holes in the screen, entire house smells musty and moldy.
