Truro is the City of Cornwall, 23½ miles away, lying on the edge of the River Allen. Here you can wander around the cobbled streets marvelling at the historic buildings and the beautiful cathedral. You will be spoilt for choice with the selection of small shops, restaurants, cafés and bars. Just before Truro, you can catch the King Harry Ferry and cross the river to St Mawes, it is like walking back in history.
