About this property
Delightful 300 year old cottage in quiet country lane
The cottage provides an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall’s beautiful coastline, fishing villages, sandy beaches; glorious gardens, ancient sites, art galleries and bird watching areas.
Cuckoo cottage is a semi-detached traditional granite cob cottage that faces south with a small cottage garden, patio and parking. There are fields to the front and back extending up the Ludgvan Valley. A short walk up the lane gives a splendid view of Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount.
The cottage is well equipped and comfortably furnished for four people. The sitting/dining room has an inglenook fireplace at one end and conventional coal fire at the other. A TV, DVD player and WiFi are provided. The kitchen is more modern with electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, dryer, microwave and plenty of cupboards and worktops. The downstairs bathroom is spacious with bath and shower. There are two bedrooms, one double one twin.
Well behaved dogs are welcome (downstairs only).
Beams in living room ceiling are low, approx. 6'3"
Bed linen and towels provided.
Friday to Friday bookings are preferred as this is our changeover day (and as a travellers you can miss the Saturday rush), however shorter or extended stays from Saturday or Sunday are welcomed.
We want you to feel confident that every measure has been taken to ensure your stay is not only comfortable but is in a safe clean environment.
Our cottage is cleaned and disinfected between each booking.
