Lovely cottage…bins in alley were full, unfortunately neighbours left dog poo bags in middle of alley and outside their door..but would definitely come back.Thank you
Beautiful cottage right in the heart of Mousehole . Had everything we needed , very well equipped , and beds were comfy. it was all lovely and clean , and decor was tastefully done . It's an older cottage with lots of character which we loved . We particularly enjoyed sitting in the bedroom window seat watching the sea. All in all can't fault this little cottage . Great places to eat in village as well , but need to book as they get busy . Ideal base for exploring what is a lovely part of Cornwall We will come back for longer next time .
We spent a wonderful few days walking the coast path around Mousehole, and Vivien’s cottage was quite simply the perfect base for us. Comfy beds, modern kitchen, ample seating and just a few steps from all that Mousehole had to offer. We would definitely recommend the cottage if you’re looking for a cosy Mousehole bolthole.
We had a lovely stay in Mousehole. The cottage was perfect in every way, very clean on arrival, well equipped and close to all the local amenities. All the rooms were beautifully decorated with a coastal theme throughout which gave it a lovely holiday feel. Another great bonus was the two upstairs bathrooms, which seems hard to find in Mousehole. The harbour, restaurants, shops and galleries are all just a short walk away. It’s a great place to stay and the location is perfect for exploring the south of Cornwall.
Lovely cottage in a perfect location - just a few minutes walk to the harbour. The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and has everything we needed. Mousehole is delightful & within easy reach of spectacular beaches, the South West Coastal path and lots of ancient sites. Communication with the host was easy and a response to any of our queries was immediate. Our second visit to this property so what better recommendation!

Wonderful location and ample space. This character cottage is perfect for a short break to Mousehole. Surprising amount of space- perfect for 4 people. Lovely to be able to walk to the pubs and restaurants and enjoy the Mousehole lights at this time of year.
The cottage was in a lovely location especially as my brother in law is unwell and can't walk too far. The weather was mixed but we lit the fire and watched the rugby. The kitchen was well equipped and overall the cottage had everything we needed.
Lovely, spacious, cosy & well equipped cotage. Perfectly situated for a stroll down into Mousehole & ideal place from which to explore beautiful West Penwith.
Lovely host too who responded immediately to our queries and made us feel very welcome.

Lovely charming cottage in the most ideal location
We recently stayed for a few days in this lovely cottage, in the most ideal location.
For a small village there are plenty of great dining options and shops that are all just a short walk away. The cottage matched the description perfectly and had such a homely feel to it. It was well equipped, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
A wonderful Christmas getaway in a perfectly prepared cottage by the sea. The house had plenty of room for four adults and the kitchen was very well equipped, allowing us to cook for ourselves over the Christmas period. It was warm and cosy, especially with the lights of Mousehole shining outside. We would highly recommend the property to anyone considering a visit to the area.

Thank you for a lovely review , I am so glad you had a lovely time and the cottage helped make your Xmas special .
Had a really lovely stay at this homely, cosy cottage. It is within easy walking distance of the harbour and the village is lovely and friendly. Be prepared to find and pay for parking every day, we were out of season and it was still problematic some days. Great base for exploring this part of Cornwall.

Thank you , it's a special place I am glad you had a lovely time .
Staying in Mousehole was lovely. The location of the cottage was fab, a short stroll to the harbour - perfect. However, the cottage was only ok. On arrival we found the oven in a terrible condition, which we had to clean before using. The cottage was dusty and we wondered if it needed a deep clean before the season got going. It felt in need of some TLC.I don't think we would stay there again. A shame.

I am sorry you had a few issues , the oven is rarely used so was surprised it was that bad but will speak to cleaners . The house is usually immaculate so I don't know what happened . But thank you for the feedback .

Why they chose this property
We had been talking about buying a holiday home abroad for years but never managed to find the time to really look at all of the potential locations.
In May 2004 we took a short break to Mousehole with the kids and after just a few days we felt so at home we said ‘Why are we looking abroad when we have found Mousehole and Cornwall?’
When we decided to take the plunge and look for a home in Mousehole we had very specific requirements. We wanted somewhere that was cosy enough for 2 and yet with enough accommodation for our two boys and their friends, all of whom, we were assured, would want to join them! We wanted all of the traditional cottage features but with modern accommodation and facilities, close to the harbour and with a view to the sea. To much to ask? Almost but then we found 5 Regent Terrace, which we have appropriately re-named Seamore Cottage.
Almost immediately we had enquiries about holiday letting but we decided that as this was to be our home too, we would spend about 6 months re-fitting the cottage to a standard that we, and others, would appreciate.
What makes this property unique
Seamore Cottage, which has been the home of Mousehole mariners for over 150 years, is about 80 odd paces from the harbour front and there are a number precious parking spaces close by. The cottage was completely rebuilt in 1999 transforming the accommodation but retaining the original features.
I try to go down to Mousehole whenever there is a vacancy and I have fallen in love with waking up in the morning and sitting on the window seat with a cup of tea in the front bedroom and watch the fisherman go out.
Mousehole is simply beautiful and tiny as it’s name suggests. Known as one of the loveliest coastal villages in England it’s granite cottages, with unique slate roofs cluster around the harbour, along narrow streets and cobbled lanes. The pretty harbour, where colourful, bobbing fishing boats glitter in the crystal clear Cornish sunlight, has a safe sandy beach, ideal for kids of all ages enclosed by a granite harbour wall with the smallest of openings onto Mounts Bay.
The village has a couple of handy shops, a post office and newsagents, some fine restaurants and a wonderful pub, The Ship Inn, where a warm welcome, good service and hearty meals are assured to locals and visitors alike. Mousehole is surrounded by a lovely coastline, designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ by the National Trust. There are two more beaches close by, with rock pools that will keep youngsters entertained for hours.
