Rural Retreat with hot tub and fishing near Bude
Higher Hopworthy Cottage is one of two fabulous 4* barn conversions, each with private hot tub, on our farm on the Devon/Cornwall border near Bude. Spacious and well equipped, it's perfect for both family holidays yet cosy enough for a romantic retreat for two.
The spacious accommodation comprises a well equipped farmhouse kitchen/diner with steps down to the bedrooms & shower room. The master bedroom has a double bed and french doors directly onto the private patio & garden. The second bedroom has twin beds. The recently renovated shower room has a lovely walk in waterfall shower. On the top floor is a generous lounge with leather sofas, freeview smart tv, games console, dvd player and lots of little extras like books and games.
The private garden and patio area are the perfect place to unwind, with the luxury of your own private hot tub, outdoor dining area and charcoal BBQ provided. Our rural location means stargazing in the hot tub should be top of your to-do list!
Guests are welcome to explore the 140 acres of farmland and fish in our private lake.
Free fishing, Wifi, all heating and linen included. Ideal location for exploring both Devon & Cornwall with a plethora of fantastic surfing beaches within easy reach.
