We liked the central location. Pleasant stay but there were some hiccups. No front gate and no handhold to help over front step. The kitchen although reasonably well equipped was a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Totally bare windows. Wouldn't like to be there in the dark nights
Only 6 chairs around the dining table for a party of 8. Only 4 or 5 people could sit comfortably in the sitting room. Lack of hanging space in the bedrooms.
Upstairs shower leaked into the kitchen. Kitchen did lack a few helpful items such as a bread knife cling film foil and radio.
Also no instruction/information manual.
The outside decking area was nice but only had 3 chairs. The railing was loose and therefore unsafe. Also the back gate could not be opened from the inside.
Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would come back if the above items were rectified.
.
Spacious, clean property, ideal for a winter stay, well located - 2mn walk to the seaside. Parking on the drive only suitable for a small car but parking permit provided. Complimentary hamper of many local products upon arrival that the whole family enjoyed. Pleasant walk-in shower and large bath tub, well heated house once we worked out the boiler. A couple of things could be improved : sturdy chairs in the kitchen, extra chairs in the bedrooms. Overall a very pleasant stay, would recommend as good value for money.
