Clean, comfortable, quiet, great view

Provided it meets your needs, this is a nice place to stay. It is clean and comfortable and well-equipped. Some criticisms made in previous reviews seem to me to reflect personal taste rather than faults, but are worth noting. The mattresses are on the softer side, but are good quality and we had no issue with them. But if you need a firm mattress, then look elsewhere. Yes, the furnishings are dated and tired, but functional and comfortable; it's a 50s building and the furnishings tend to be varnished brown. If you want modern and stylish, look elsewhere. Ditto if you need a dishwasher. But. It has a good electric shower and loads of boiling hot water, plenty of cooking and eating equipment, a nice welcome pack and parking for 2 cars. If you are happy with comfy-lived-in, in a quiet area a mile or so from Lyme Regis, with very little passing traffic and a simply glorious view from the living room's picture window, then look no further.
