PROPERTY DETAIL '

At the end of the long and scenic driveway of the property, you will find villa Mariò.
Wifi is present all over the villa.
The house of 125sqm, is on two levels.
Entering through the front door we find a great environment as the living area with fireplace, which leads directly to a modern fitted kitchen in every detail.
In the lower level we still have three bedrooms, two doubles and one single, and two bathrooms. Upstairs attic we find a double bedroom and a bathroom.
The house, simple design and refined, and all services.
Outside the villa is surrounded by large terraces, where you can spend the day, relaxing in the sun or enjoying the typical dishes of Sicilian cuisine.
Inside the large park, amidst orange and olive trees, our swimming pool for the exclusive use of the villa stands majestically.
With its 12 meters long and 8 meters wide, the pool is on two levels separated by a waterfall: the first tank ideal for your swim, the second for moments of pure relaxation data from the sound of the continuous flow of water.
Only the opportunity to enjoy wonderful walks in the park surrounding private, traced by paths adorned by cypresses, pines and poplars.

Villa Mario was absolutely incredible! This traditional Italian home offers so much space—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. The pool and dining area were definite highlights of our stay. Communication with Monica, the manager, was fantastic and she was incredibly helpful throughout. We would definitely recommend Villa Mario to others looking for a memorable getaway!

The photos do not do this place justice! It is up on a windy hill (automatic cars preferable :) it is in a more private area that isn’t very walkable because of the hills however it is in close proximity to the old town area- a 10 min drive. Very beautiful estate, well maintained and clean. Helpful and friendly property manager and owner. Dog on site that has their own area friendly, no bother at all and the owner checks in a couple times a day and maintains grounds. Highly recommend ! We’re already hoping to plan a trip back to stay here!

Wow! The photos of this property don’t do it justice. The views of the sea and mountains are spectacular. The gardens are humongous and beautifully kept. The house has everything you need, is clean, comfortable and welcoming. We spent many days relaxing by the pool. Great for kids and adults alike. Cefalu is 10 mins drive away. Beautiful old town steeped in history. So many lovely beaches near by which are great for snorkelling. Really can’t fault the house and you get a bonus resident dog called Stella. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Property

The property is gorgeous. Hanging out at the pool with the family surrounded by beautiful landscaping and fruit trees was an amazing highlight of our trip. When the kids napped, we hung out in the back patio enjoying the scenery. We were removed from the crowds, but still made it down to the beach and grocery store easily. Can't say enough about Monica & Mario who helped with any issues we had.

Absolutely Wonderful

The residence was very comfortable for all six of us. The grounds were lovely, the views spectacular and the pool a special bonus. The owner and property manager were very attentive. Don't forget to visit as often as possible Mario's Rive del Sole Hotel/Restaurant on the LungoMare in town. We had the very best meal there of our entire visit in Sicily. All highly recommended. Highly recommneded, I would return tomorrow, if possible.

Pool is fantastic. Facilities in the house were poor. No basic commodious like dishwashing detergent, soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, olive oil. Stella the dog is kept in a cage and this was upsetting to us. She also barks a lot. Could not get outside lights on and the ceiling upstairs is very low with only a toilet up there but no bath. The pool is the best think about this property.

Villa Mario, Cefalù

Beatiful location and property, especially the swimming pool is very nice and the view is spectacular. In the kitchen there is room for improvement, the fridge was struggling to keep things cool because of the heat. But we were grateful for the airconditioning in the bedrooms! Over all, we had a fantastic holiday and the owners were very friendly and helpful so we give it a 5 star rating.

Villa Mario

We had an amazing week here. The pool is immaculate and so nice to swim in. On occasion a little chilly, but it was the end on October and once you’re in, it was lovely. Check in was easy - Monica and Mario came to the village to meet us and show us the way up the hill to the villa which was really good of them. We could check in early too and Mario called round every day to water the extensive gardens and see to Stella the dog who lives onsite. The gardens smell amazing and watching the sunset was beautiful, but unfortunately mozzies and bugs love me so we couldn’t stay out for long after sunset as I was being eaten alive! The villa itself was actually nicer than the photos look online. Only one minor issue was things were quite dusty and had to be washed before use. There weren’t any proper wine glasses or prosecco glasses and only 2 bowls - we made do but that could be improved upon. There had also been some children’s underwater left behind in the drawer from the previous guests. Overall, the Villa and gardens are excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thanks for having us! Xx

Villa perchée entre les Madonie et Cefalù

Nous étions quatre membres d’une même famille à partager la Villa Mario pendant six nuits. Mario a eu la gentillesse de nous rencontrer en soirée à Cefalù pour nous conduire à la villa et nous montrer quelques commodités. L’endroit est bien situé, à 30 minutes du parc des Madonie et à 15 minutes de Cefalù. La villa est spacieuse et les espaces extérieurs, sans parler de la piscine double, permettent de profiter du paysage spectaculaire toute la journée. La pente est très prononcée entre les niveaux inférieurs de la propriété, mais des marches et sentiers bien aménagés permettent de circuler entre chaque terrasse. Un gentil chien, en cage, est présent sur la propriété jour et nuit; les aboiements répétés des chiens des environs nous ont quelques fois réveillées. Les proprios nous ont mentionné que le papier hygiénique supplémentaire et le savon à main ne sont pas fournis. Nous recommandons tout de même cette villa entre mer et montagnes.

Parfait !

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la Villa Mario. Le propriétaire, Mario, comme la gestionnaire Monica sont très sympathiques et arrangeants. Ils ont répondu à nos demandes durant le séjour avec beaucoup de réactivité et c’était très confortable. La maison est spacieuse et les extérieurs sont vraiment très agréables. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques et adaptés pour les enfants (3 enfants petits nous concernant) car la piscine a deux bassins. La vue est très chouette et la présence de Stella, la chienne du propriétaire (qui est dans un enclos) n’est vraiment pas gênante, elle est très gentille et silencieuse. La maison est sur les hauteurs de Cefalu ce qui permet de gagner un peu en fraîcheur. Elle est à 15 minutes en voiture à la fois du centre que des plages. C’est vraiment confortable de pouvoir s’isoler un peu du monde et du bruit car Cefalu est très fréquenté en été et du coup c’est confortable de pouvoir revenir au calme. Côté équipements c’est peut être le seul défaut de la maison, c’est un peu maigre (pas de verres à vin, nous en avons achetés, et peu de casseroles etc.mais au regard des autres atouts de la maison c’est rapidement oublié. Merci encore de nous avoir permis de faire gratuitement un Check out tardif et pour votre disponibilité pendant tout notre séjour! C’était parfait!

Superbe séjour à la Villa Mario

La villa Mario est absolument comme sur les photos et même plus belle en vrai pour les photos de l'intérieur. Le jardin et la piscine sont absolument magnifiques. La maison, le jardin et la piscine étaient très propres. La piscine est régulièrement nettoyée par Mario ou par le jardinier qui sont très discrets lors de leurs passages. Elle est a bonne température (entre 28° et 30°), ce qui est très agréable. Le fait qu'elle soit située sur les hauteurs permet d'être au calme. Nous avons passé deux très belles semaines de vacances et aurions aimé pouvoir rester un peu plus. Mario est très sympathique et toujours à l'écoute pour des conseils et répondre à nos demandes. Cefalú est une ville magnifique où l'on trouve d'excellents restaurants. À savoir, les chambres sont assez petites et il y a de ce fait peu de rangements (sauf dans la chambre avec le lit une place). On aurait aussi aimé trouver un "fond de cuisine" (huile, vinaigre, sel, sucre, quelques épices) et aussi quelques produits de nettoyage. Quelques patères supplémentaires dans les salles de bain seraient utiles. Il faudrait aussi retirer dans les équipements la mention de la place de parking en ville qui n'est plus proposée. Le seul point négatif pour nous (surtout avec un ado) est la qualité du wifi très aléatoire voire inexistant à certaines heures, il était parfois difficile d'ouvrir même un simple email. On recommande la villa pour de superbes vacances au bord de la piscine !

Les extérieurs sont magnifiques.

Le principal atout de cette maison est son extérieur. L’espace piscine est incroyable ! Le bassin est très grand et on a vue sur la mer. Le chien qui réside à côté de la piscine est sage. Pour ce qui est de la maison, climatisation, bel espace de séjour et grande cuisine ouverte sur le salon. Le hic c'est que dans une maison de ce standing on s’attend à plus d’équipements. Pas de lave vaisselle, pas de micro onde, pas de bouilloire, peu de saladiers pour les grandes salades de l’été, pas de verres à pieds pour déguster un bon vin Italien, pas de bols pour les céreales du matin. Sinon bonne impression générale et tout prêt de Céfalu

Beautiful garden

Very nice old style villa with beautiful garden and new nice pool with seeview. But... goat farm in neighborhood! Very unplesand smell in the front and back villa-stink of smth like dead animal!very persistent stink entering villa! The localisation is beautiful but not 5 minutes from Cefalu but 10-15! Wifi is dramaticly week-can not work if domeone want and no movies! Should everybody ask for elektricity,because often is of and You have to turn it on in garage!Generally beautiful place with unplesant stink but not in the swimmingpool area!

Gut mit einem gravierenden Manko

Die Villa liegt auf einem Berg in einem sehr schön angelegten Garten. Insbesondere der sehr schön angelegte Swimmingpool ist eine Wohltat. Die Villa hat sicherlich einige Reparaturen nötig. Dies stört jedoch den positiven Gesamteindruck nicht. Der einzige Kritikpunkt, den wir haben, ist die Behandlung des Wachhundes. Dieser ist in einem rd. 10 qm großen, schattigen Zwinger eingesperrt. Der Hund ist ein äußerst sanfter und verspielter weißer Maremmen-Abruzzen-Schäferhund. Wir haben nicht mit bekommen, dass der Hund aus dem Zwinger gelassen wurde. Wir hatten Frühaufsteher und spät zu Bett Gehende in unserer Reisegruppe. Keiner hat den Hund jemals draußen gesehen. Ebenfalls hat der Hund keinerlei Spielsachen und döst so gelangweilt in seinem Zwinger.Wir würden die Villa aufgrund der unserer Meinung nach schlechten Behandlung des Hundes nicht noch einmal buchen. Unserer Ansicht nach grenzt diese Behandlung an Tierquälerei. The villa is situated on a hill in a beautifully landscaped garden. In particular, the beautifully landscaped swimming pool is a blessing. The villa certainly needs some repairs. However, this does not spoil the positive overall impression. The only criticism we have is the treatment of the guard dog. This is locked in a 10 square meter, shady kennel. The dog is an extremely gentle and playful White Maremma Abruzzo Sheepdog. We didn't notice that the dog was let out of the kennel. We had early risers and late bedcomers in our tour group. No one has ever seen the dog outside. Also, the dog has no toys and so bored dozes in his kennel.We would not book the villa again due to what we felt was the poor treatment of the dog. In our view, this treatment borders on animal cruelty. La villa è situata su una collina in un bellissimo giardino paesaggistico. In particolare, la splendida piscina paesaggistica è una benedizione. La villa necessita sicuramente di alcune riparazioni. Tuttavia, ciò non rovina l'impressione generale positiva. L'unica critica che abbiamo è il trattamento del cane da guardia. Questo è chiuso in un canile ombreggiato di 10 metri quadrati. Il cane è un cane da pastore maremmano abruzzese bianco estremamente dolce e giocoso. Non ci siamo accorti che il cane è stato fatto uscire dal canile. Avevamo mattinieri e ritardatari nel nostro gruppo di tour. Nessuno ha mai visto il cane fuori. Inoltre, il cane non ha giocattoli e quindi annoiato sonnecchia nella sua cuccia.Non prenoteremmo nuovamente la villa a causa di quello ch

Un environnement exceptionnel !

La villa Mario est située sur un domaine exceptionnel : à flanc de colline sur un terrain en restanque avec vue sur la compagne sicilienne et la mer. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques et entretenus chaque jour avec beaucoup de passion par Mario le propriétaire .Nous remercions Mario et Monica pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse ainsi que leur gentilles attentions. La maison est au calme mais ne se trouve qu à 10min du centre de Cefalù, charmante petite ville .La maison est très propre et bien équipée, nous étions 5 et étions très a l aise. Cefalù er en spændende by. Huset levede helt op til vore forventninger. Ingen specielle kommentarer. Smuk have, pool og omgivelser. Men, vi kunne ikke lide at se, at man holder en stor - og vældig sød hund - indelukket i et bur med hundehus på ca 12-13 m2. Den blev ikke tilset dagligt og den var nødt til at besørge i sin hundegård. Vi er en hundeelskende familie og det gjorde ondt i vore hjerter. Der var mange hunde i området, men de løb frit omkring inden i folks haver - her opholdt den sig decideret i et aflukket bur. Ved godt at man ser anderledes på det at holde hund i Italien, men det vi så var cruel efter vores opfattelse.
