Ideally located near le Marais, this apartment is steeped in history, as it was built using stones and wooden beams salvaged from the ruins of the Bastille. Original beams can be found in the living room.
The place was fully redesigned by an architect, blending its historic features with contemporary comfort and design. Its vibrant green colour adds a unique feel to the apartment, for an unforgettable stay in Paris.
The space
The apartment is located in a building constructed under Napoleon, using stones and beams from the Bastille, in ruins since July 14, 1789. The building is protected as a heritage site by the City of Paris and has been owned by the same French aristocratic family for 220 years.

Important: No elevator in the building - About 25 stairs until the 2nd floor

The apartment includes:
- 1 Living room
- 1 Dining room with seating for 10
- 1 Fully equipped kitchen
- 2 Shared bathrooms (one with bathtub and no WC, and one with shower and WC)
- 1 Private bathroom (see below)
- 1 Separate WC

The sleeping arrangement is organized as follows:
- Bedroom 1 with a Queensize bed and en-suite private bathroom (bathtub and WC)
- Bedroom 2 with a Queensize bed
- Bedroom 3 with a double bed
- Living room convertible into a bedroom: 1 sofa bed for two people

The apartment is comfortable for 6 people and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Guest access
Easy access : before your arrival, we will send you all the information regarding the access to the apartment as well as a video to guide you through your check-in.

To get the keys of the apartment:
- You will have to collect the keys in a secure box with a code inside the building
- The code will be given to you before your arrival
- The door to your apartment is on the 2nd floor (no elevator, about 25 steps)
Other things to note
You are expected to take care of the apartment and return it in the same condition. Additional cleaning or repair fees may be applied in the event of non-compliance with our house rules.

House Rules
- No parties. To respect neighbors, parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours: 9 p.m. - 8 a.m. No music
- Non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment or building
- Registered guests only. Only those who have provided ID are allowed access
- No events or professional shoots. The apartment is for residential use only

Additionally, please note that:
- Identity documents of all adults are required
- Lost keys incur a €170 replacement fee
- Cleaning is done before arrival and after departure
