DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!!

Host cancelled the day of our check in which was 2 days before Christmas! Had horrible communication (sent them several messages and they didn’t communicate back). Because of all this it put our family in a bind to find a new place to stay on our own while in Mexico. Vrbo customer service and policies are absolutely HORRIBLE and do not help or protect the customer! We tried calling for help more than 24hrs before our check in time and they told us they couldn’t help until AFTER our check in time! This left us with no place to stay! Vrbo was then forced to find emergency accommodations for us and would only pay the nightly rate that our original booking was for (we made the original reservation 30 + days in advance because they were a bit cheaper that way but for last minute it was in the oldest and worst neighborhood!) Do yourself a favor and use the parent company Expedia as they are more reputable! We will NEVER try to use Vrbo again!
