Beautiful but Convenient Retreat in Rural France

What a lovely cottage! Quiet and peaceful, but so convenient to Paris, Giverny, Normandy, everything! Easy train ride to Paris, but we loved exploring the tiny village of Courdimanche and sitting and enjoying the back garden. Comfortable and plenty of space!

Lovely holiday

A spacious, clean house, also nice and cool. The kitchen is fully equipped. Perfect base for trips in the area, the Normandy coast and of course Paris. Courdimanche is a very quiet village, and, inportant in France, wíth a bakery. We have had a very nice holiday!

Lovely Home in Peaceful Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful neighborhood home. We visited Monet’s Gardens, Vernon, Chantilly and Senlis returning to the serene view of the garden. The local grocery store was quite upscale and full of delicious choices. We prepared salmon one evening that was quite possibly the best wild salmon I’ve ever tasted. We were most embarrassed that we couldn’t get our iPhone translator to work and sadly, neither of us speak French. But, the check in proceeded with our host being patient with us and our stumbling efforts to communicate.

Tranquille et vert

Maison récente en retrait de la rue à l'entrée d'un village très calme. La maison est superbement entretenue et ultra-propre. Elle est complètement équipée et à l'arrière il y a un jardin avec fruits, fleurs et oiseaux. Les hôtes et personnes d'accueil sont charmants. S'asseoir dans le jardin pour regarder la verdure et écouter les oiseaux est un bonheur pour les yeux et l'esprit. Les **** pour l'emplacement sont dues au fait que ce n'était pas mon emplacement ideal, mais cela ne m'a pas empêchée d'apprécier la maison.

ruhig, ländlich und trotzdem Paris zum greifen nah

Sehr nette Vermieter!!! Im Haus ist alles wie auf den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Paris. Im Nachbarort (ca.3km entfernt) ist die Endhaltestelle der RER Cergy le Haut. Ein perfekter Parkplatz steht am Bahnhof für ca. 10 € am Tag zur Verfügung. Mit der RER und der Metro ist man in ca. 45 Min. im Zentrum von Paris. Alles in allem ein interessanter Urlaub am Rande / in einer Weltmetropole. Einen herzlichen Dank nochmals an Nadine und Therry! Es war sehr sehr schön!

Great Stay!

The property was exactly as pictured and described! The entire reservation process was easy, communication handled quickly with all questions answered in detail. When we arrived at the property, both Nadine and Thierry were present to explain where everything was located, how to use the washing machine/dryer, and the garbage/recycling schedule. Nadine even left detailed instructions about the bus, train, locations of major tourist areas, etc. to help us get around both Paris but also France. The house was large enough that we had plenty of room, kitchen had everything we needed, and the yard was beautiful with cherry and fruit trees in bloom! We loved the village and area and highly recommend staying at this property! Since we were all teaching and working online throughout our stay —- the Internet was fast, reliable, and worked perfectly for all our needs!

Fabulous property in quiet location. Easy access to Paris, Versailles and Disneyland.

Nadine is a fantastic host. Frequent communication and excellent tips left to support our stay. Her friend, Madeleine, greeted us when we arrived and returned to complete the stay. The house is amazing. Situated in a lovely little village. Supermarket is very close by. The garden at the property is beautiful. Perfect for relaxing evenings on the patio or early morning breakfast. The view from the living room onto the garden is amazing and the patio doors front and back keeps the temperature down on hot days. The house is close to the RER a line. This is a direct route into Paris or Disney allowing you to leave the car behind. We bought day tickets and got on and off to explore different areas. I would highly recommend a stay at this property. Thank you Nadine and Thierry.

Wunderbar ruhiges und gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus für den Familienurlaub

Das Ferienhaus liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse in dem verkehrsberuhigten Dorf Courdimanche. Es hat einen sehr schönen Garten und eine tolle Terrasse mit guter Möblierung, auf der man von vormittags bis zum frühen Abend die Sonne genießen kann. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, der Urlauber findet hier alle, was man benötigt. Gute Betten für einen erholsamen Schlaf, tolle Relaxe-Sofas, einen schönen Esstisch, eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Backofen, Geschirrspüler, Herd, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank und Mikrowelle. Bei Bedarf stehen Waschmaschine, Trockner und Wäscheleine mit Wäscheklammern im Garten zur Verfügung. Das ganze Haus und beide Badezimmer sowie die Toiletten sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand und sehr sauber! Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Hausverwalterin empfangen, uns wurde alles ausführlich gezeigt. Die Kommunikation per Mail mit der Vermieterin Nadine Lesous war sehr nett und immer zeitnah. Alle Fragen wurden beantwortet. Vor Ort im Haus gab es sehr viel Informationsmaterial für Ausflugsziele in der Nähe, die Fahrmöglichkeiten nach Paris mit der RER und evtl. Busverbindungen. Für die Anreise nach Paris-Zentrum muss man mit Fahrt zum nächsten RER-Bahnhof und Umstieg in die Metro ca. 1 Stunde rechnen. In der Nähe gibt es einen wunderbaren Freizeitpark mit guter Bademöglichkeit. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Im Haus gibt es freien WLAN-Anschluss, Telefon und französisches Fernsehen. Wir haben zusammen mit unserer 15jährigen Tochter eine sehr erholsame Ferienwoche in Courdimanche verbracht. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen und können dieses Urlaubsdomizil sowie die Vermieter und ihre nette Hausverwalterin uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

comfortabele ruime vrijstaande woning met heerlijk terras en tuin

Het huis ligt in een rustige buurt en heeft parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein. Het is een zeer nette en zonnige woning van alle gemakken voorzien. Het huis vormde voor ons een ideale uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan Parijs en bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving (Chantilly, Giverny en Poissy).

Tres bien!

On a eu une tres bonnes semaines dans cette maison tres jolie. Les lits sont un peu fort, mais la reste est tres complet et agreable. La distance de Paris et Versailles n'est pas loin.
