Conch Key- An old-fashioned lobster and crab fishing village that can only accommodate a few lucky tourists who want great fishing and diving and a complete rest! You can often pick up fresh seafood from the local fishermen.
Conch Key Landing (CKL) is our family's unpretentious waterfront winter home which we invite you to share. It is completely equipped and spotlessly clean. We provide everything you need for a great vacation. CKL is directly on Florida Bay. A five minute boat ride from our protected dockage will take you under the US1 bridge to the oceanside flats, the reefs and the Gulfstream. Superb sunsets, bird and fish viewing. Lie in a hammock or relax in our comfortable deck chairs under the palms and let the world go by.
Our friendly, knowledgeable, property managers, live only two doors away. They are most happy to provide you with information about the Keys and to ensure that CKL remains in top condition so that you will have a pleasurable stay

The listing is a little confusing as we thought we were renting the upstairs unit but actually had the lower level. Despite the initial confusion we still enjoyed the property. There is plenty of space outside with a hammock, Adirondack chairs, and dining areas that provide a perfect view of the sunset.
This is exactly what I needed quiet on the water. I stayed at the first floor unit. It was very clean, quiet and well equipped with everything that I needed the furniture and bed bedding were very comfortable. The host. She’s really a great person, including her dog, salty right up the road less than a block away. There’s a small convenience store where you can get almost anything. They’ll be having jet skis there and being able to rent boats and every night you could sit out back on the water and watch the sunset perfect place. I definitely will be back again.
Really enjoyed our time spent here at Conch Key Landing! Clean, comfy, & equipped with many amenities. Both Joanie & Denise made us feel so welcome during our stay.
Beauitful area with amazing sunsets and a dock to fish off. Who could ask for more?

We are delighted you enjoyed ConchKeyLanding. Covid prevented our annual stay. It gives us some comfort to know our home away from home is giving others pleasure. Philip and Sue.
This was a great place for a quick reprieve from work, or work from there, wifi connection was good! We love the keys and just needed to be there! Sunsets beautiful, rebounded and yoga on the deck each morning. We will return!
We loved staying here! It was a quiet small key where we were able to walk out our door to the deck and watch the sunrise and beautiful sunsets each day. We found it hard to leave each day. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The location was very convenient between Islamorada and Marathon. There was a friendly family atmosphere among the people staying around us. Denise and Joannie were very helpful and made us feel welcome! It was a nice convenience to have access to the washer/dryer. The listing doesn't make it clear there is 2 units, upstairs and down, but we were very comfortable downstairs and it was nice to walk out to the deck without going down stars. Thanks for sharing your corner of paradise with us!

It is a continuing pleasure for Sue and I to know people enjoyed Conch Key Landing. We are counting the days until we leave our Canadian winter and get there ourselves. I have raised the issue that it is difficult to realize there are 3 units available when you read the VRBO listing. They do have them appear in sequence, but it can still be a little confusing. We’ll try again. Philip and Sue.
Joanie and Denise are very nice and most helpful and accommodating. The view is wonderful. Unfortunately, antiquated DSL Internet service with 1 router for several units was entirely inadequate. The signal was weak and sporadic. My wife and I are both business people and needed adequate internet. Most disappointing., for what I paid, I expected better. The owner was contacted and insisted 1 router was sufficient. Wrong! Fiber optic service is available and this needs to be updated. Also, after completing payment, I realized when I checked the breakdown of owner fees, I was charged for parking. I have rented many times in the Keys and have never been charged for parking. We stayed in the lower unit and heard every step the folks upstairs took. Very noisy. The bedroom has nowhere to put clothes that do not go on hangers. There is no dresser. We had to stack our clothes on top of a linen cabinet in the bathroom. Because of the parking fee, I probably would not stay here again.
Everything was great! The property was clean and inviting. We had everything we needed available. The property manager is a few doors down and we enjoyed talking with her and her awesome dog.

You can do better
It was nice being on the bay, but this property is not a good choice if you are looking for peace and quiet. I thought being on a small key would feel like getting away from it all, but instead the small size means constant traffic noise with the main highway so close. We we're in the downstairs unit. The bedroom and bathroom are in the back and are very dark with just a few small windows looking out underneath a covered area. Thankfully there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom, but there was not one in the livingroom which might have helped with limited air flow through the small windows when we had the AC off. I'm guessing the upstairs unit might be better in that regard. Beware, the description for the downstairs unit inaccurately lists the keywords "one bedroom upstairs." Because of this we thought we rented the upstairs unit, which looks like it would have been nicer. We did enjoy having kayaks there for our use (though one of them is not in great shape with worn out straps and a busted seat), saw some nice sunsets from the deck, and enjoyed daily visits from caretaker Joanie and her sweet dog. The main drawback for this property is the constant traffic noise, and that will probably to only continue to get worse.

Therese, We too we’re concerned by the proximity of the highway when we purchased the property many years ago. The real estate man said “you won’t notice it after a short while”. He was right. You are the first people to mention it in 12 years of rental. We do sympathize
, however and hope it didn’t spoil your vacation. The Keys, with the exception of a few areas like Big Pine are only a few hundred yards wide. It’s hard to avoid the highway. Semitropical houses of the era all have small windows to help keep them cool. The “upstairs” is a misprint. Thanks for pointing it out. We’ll correct it. We are truly sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. We love it there, but please recognize that rental homes in a fishing village by definition are not the same as the big resorts nor as costly. Philip and Sue
Location is incredible. View is incredible. Property managers were extremely friendly and accommodating. This is definitely a fisherman’s type of place. If you’re looking for pedicure/manicure type place , move on. This is for the simple love the water kind of people. I have rented many places in the keys, for me this is my favorite. I will be back. Thank you so much for sharing your property.
We enjoyed our stay at this cute little property. The owners we very helpful and it was a nice getaway.

Amazing place...
The place was beautiful and well maintained. The hosts Joannie and Denise were fantastic. It is just secluded enough yet a short drive to get anything. Unreal sunsets. Can't wait to return...
