Morwenna a large family house in Port Isaac.
The property
This spacious detached house in Port Isaac is perfect for a seaside family getaway. The separate lounge with an open fire provides a cosy retreat on cooler evenings whilst the dining room is ideal for enjoying locally caught fish.
The well-presented kitchen/dining area is generously proportioned and equipped with modern appliances, including a range cooker. A separate utility room with a downstairs shower room and WC is conveniently located off the kitchen.
On the first floor, there are four bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, another king-size bedroom, one twin bedroom, and a single bedroom that share a family bathroom. A fifth double bedroom with a 4ft bed is accessed via a second staircase from the kitchen/diner.
Step outside to the south-facing garden, where you can glimpse the sea and enjoy summer BBQs.
A short walk takes you to Port Isaac Harbour with its shops, galleries, cafes, and restaurants, or head in the opposite direction to Port Gaverne, a sheltered bay for swimming and beach relaxation. Polzeath, a fantastic surfing beach, is a 15-minute drive away, and you can also visit nearby beaches like Rock and Daymer Bay.
For a family break of up to nine people, Morwenna offers excellent accommodation in a well-located spot for exploring the fishing village and the surrounding area.
Please note that care should be taken with young children where the main stairs divide to access bedrooms.
