About this property
Our quirky Gite is 4 minutes drive to Gouzon and 12 minutes drive to Boussac.
Gouzon has a 18 hole public golf course and fishing lakes, supermarket with service station pharmacy, restaurants and Auberge. Boussac has a large market every Thursday with plenty of cafes.
The house consists of a spacious open plan sitting area with a cosy log burner, TV and DVD player, dining room seating 6, well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge freezer and dish washer.
Shower room with separate toilet are on the ground floor.
On the first-floor large double bedroom, with low ceiling and middle beam which adds character but please remember to duck! Small sitting area TV and dressing area, separate toilet. A single bed or cot could be added for a younger child or baby if required.
The spacious loft area has 2 small double beds (6x4ft) suitable for children aged 10 and over due to the steep stairs.
Outside there is a covered terrace , an enclosed garden with dining area, BBQ, and parking.
Secure storage os available on request for bikes and top boxes.

Hosted by Angela Swift
Iain and Angela moved to La Creuse area in November 2021, looking for a quieter easier pace of life, after retiring from their careers in the Metropolitan Police and the NHS.
After having a holiday home in Le Celle Dunoise for 15 years, they knew they could not leave this amazing area and eventually found their forever home just outside Gouzon, allowing them to indulge in their love of meeting new people, by renting out their Gites.
Iain and Angela look forward to giving you a warm welcome to their gites, where you can relax and enjoy the wildlife, peace and quiet. We hope you will also fall in love with this special piece of France, just as we have done.
Why they chose this property
The Creuse region of France is the least populated and most untouched department in France and is renowned for its clean air, very little light pollution (stargazing is a must), beautiful forests, rich architectural and artistic heritage, stunning landscapes and variety of wildlife.
It's a fantastic place for a relaxing family holiday with lots of family friendly places to visit, or will equally suit the more adventurous with plenty of activities such as kayaking, canoeing, quad biking, hot air balloon rides, paragliding, water skiing, go-karting, cycling , swimming in the aqua park and much more
It's the perfect location for relaxing and recharging your batteries.
